thank you so much brother, that ACTIVE RECOVERY worked out so good. I just started my workout and i started with biceps workout. I worked out pretty hard on my first day (yesterday) and i was feeling like someone is pulling my hands off today, was not able to bend my arms fully. it was paining a lot due to the lactic build up and foam rolling was just temporary and the pain again came back. but after watching this video i took my lightest 7. 5kg dumbbell and did a very light set just now and i got instant relief, as if all my lactic acid pile started moving due to blood flow. i know it doesnot make much sense but it worked. active recovery is seriously effective. I am able to unbend my arms fully. before that i tried foam rolling, hot water bags and it did not worked. thanks bro.

I'm stuck in my bed with sore back thighs, sore thighs, sore back, sore shoulders n sore chests, I really have to pee but I don't think I have the energy to go through the process of getting up while my WHOLE body is in pain, it hurts like when u get hit in the balls but it spreads through ur whole body when I move my hip a tiny bit which I don't think I will
I will not get out of my bed for the next 48 hours, my life is ruined my wiener can no longer holds the mount of pee back which I shall take it in my glass of water
I hope someone finds and feeds me n so I can tell them to never EVER do heavy thigh press n heavy chests on their first day so they can be saved. The end.

+10 on mentioning the rower for active recovery. It works a treat. I just need 3 minutes on the rower directly after a long workout. it stretches the arms and legs while re-pumping some more blood all over. No going nuts, focusing on the stretching, just mildly challenging pulls, and allow the sliding motion to stretch the ligaments and muscles better and more comfortably than static stretching. Combine with smart timing of food, and you reduce your chances of being sore by a lot.

Ice and stretching reduces my doms by 2 days. I'd rather be able to workout more frequently than worry if that particular workout was most effective by some minimal amount. There's no way hitting legs 16 times a month is better than hitting legs 20 times a month, especially if you're able to keep the same intensity. Plus, I think the benefits of keeping your muscles and tendons healthy is more important that just size alone.

I did 100 push-ups because I lost a bet and I have never even done 1 push-up before that, I collapsed on the ground and have been sore for a whole week, and now youre telling me that I have to workout more to get rid of the soreness? FML

2 days ago I got back into skating after almost 13 years, went to local skatepark, spent almost 3 hours there. Now my legs, arms, and back are so sore I literally screamed yesterday to get up on my bed. The soreness pain is real.

Can you provide the link to the use of a foam roller? I want to ensure I am using it correctly, and I think I heard you say there would be a separate video illustrating the use. I appreciate any assistance you can provide.
