Whenever I have done squats I have always seen the most growth in my glutes when I aimed to grow my quads instead. Thinking of stopping squats as I tried to elevate my heels to target my quads which worked but it was much harder to do should I do leg press instead?

A very correct squat is an advanced training and should not be done without extra reinforcement. It is a very dangerous move for those who are just at the beginning of this sport. Big Ron got injured doing this move and can barely walk now.

while doing sqaut motion I get this biceps femoris snapping over fibular head in outer side of my left knee though there is no pain but jsut sensation of this happening, is it serious?

? Half squat vs deep squat? That look more like quarter verses parallel. Are you sure it was not about ass to grass vs parallel vs quarter?

too bad I was born with short achilles heels which does not allow me to get into a squat since it's too short and pulls on it.
