BEST DIET FOR STAYING LEAN ALL YEAR & How my summer went Zuzka Light Pumanawa: Vegetarian diet almost killed me. And I need to quit coffee. 1 Cup per day is just too much for me. I am a blood type 0. This kind of diet (blood type diet) fits for me. Its so natural for me. Coffee is very bad for 0's. It can cause a vitamin b12 absorbtion disorder - which I have! When I was a vegetarian (lack of B12) and had several coffees a day, I got super sick. Especially the adrenals and thyroid suffer from coffee in blood type 0 people and can cause bad hormonal problems. 0's also should not eat too much grains and dairy. Grain causes wateriness in me. Fermented products are ok, like kefir and joghurt. :) But no milk.

I once tried to give up coffee and it was terrible. I drink 1-2 cups of coffee a day. When I stopped drinking it and switched to caffeine-free I started having daily headaches that didn't go away even when I took the pill. This went on for a week, every day a headache and a state as if you were in a trance, as if your mind was clouded. And in the end I gave up, I couldn't take it anymore and started drinking coffee again. And it's not that I feel bad with coffee, but many argue that without it it is better and calmer and more energy and I wanted to know if this is so. But I guess I'll never know )

Zuzka, I just discovered you like a month ago. I am impresed by your overall energy. I am walking in this healthy path of life and it's tremedous important to be connected with people vibrating with the same energy and you inspire. I am a coffe lover (since I was 6yo: s) I am not sure about decaf coffee, I rather 100% coffe, the most natural and less treated possible. I believe coffee plays an important role in health for some kind of bodies. Best of lucks! :) thanks for sharing hugs from Miami: D

I prefer whole food balanced diet. I love fruits and veggies, I eat fish and chicken and some milk products. I don't eat red meat or pork. I don't limit myself in anything, if I want cake I'll eat a slice of cake, etc. I don't drink any type of sodas, just water, tea, and coffee. Every once in a while if we're on vacation or something I'll drink fresh squeezed lemonade or treat myself to a kombucha (that's my soda fix. I also do 16: 8 intermittent fasting.

The best diet advice I've ever herd for people, so thank you for that. I usually only eat once a day and mainly a plant based diet, (but remain flexible) and never been healthier, Plant base means I have energy for days, some days I'm not hungry at all and only eat because I think I should, like the strong man on The Game Changers, says, If you want to be as strong as an ox, you have to eat what an ox eats, and it any meat.

I do best on high carb. My favorite form is fruit. It is natures perfect food for humans. It is completely illogical to not eat fruit. Next I like whole grains and potatoes. I eat lots of greens and veggies, moderate amounts of healthy fats and lean proteins. Minimal dairy. I cant do caffeine or I'm anxious and wired so I really depend on high energy food like carbs, and making sure I get a lot of quality sleep.

IF + OMAD/TWOMAD + used to do keto for nearly 4 years, nowadays balancing it out w/lots of protein, but still go low carb. Nevertheless, need to watch out for overeating as it can happen faster then one thinks. Best days were on keto, so I might just go back to it, once I finally manage to empty the fridge: -. Most difficult is to keep consistency in the training section however. Keep up the good work, Zu!

I try to adjust my food in that way that I need no diet. I try to find the right amount of food for me without a diet. Combined with the suitable amount of sport and activity. That's not easy, but work better than switch back forth and back from diet to normal and so. Currently this works really good, but is not difficult to balance out and discipline is of great importance.

Delightful to hear such sane and science based advice. I cant do low carb anymore. It used to be ok for me but now it just makes me sleepy and my gym work sufferers. Its also very hard on my digestion. Lower fat, high protein and medium carbs works for me and lots of activity to build muscle and fitness. I might try caffeine free again.

I switched to decaf about a year ago because I like the taste. I take the Lavazza one where they use CO2 to decaffeinate it. One thing I noticed if I had a standard coffee in the morning was the caffeine kick and a feeling of ravenous hunger in my stomach near lunchtime. So that was a wake up call too. I don't have those feelings anymore.
