Hey Lucy. I have noticed a subtle but increasing confidence in your presentations. I am sure this has come about for more than one reason But as someone who had to Stand on the Poolside & Teach from / usually 20 to 30 / 9 years to 12 year old Children but also Groups of Firemen of 150 ( once a week ) I had to work on my personal eye contact & vocal delivery as well as Lesson planning & keeping the interest. Teenagers ( at Coaching sessions ) were the worst as they could mostly all swim faster than me & were more interested in other things as teenagers are. But I think Big congratulations are well deserved for you since the 1st times you posted ' Content ' until now you have become far more polished & confident. Which makes it more enjoyable to watch & listen & learn. Straight into the camera is always best as looking up & left or up & right is a well known indicator of which side of your brain you are accessing. & if you are right handed usually means? well you can research this for yourself. For fun as I did you can research the techniques of - Mesmerism - & Hypnosis as well as watching TED Talks. some people are naturally shy as I was & I guess you are But when you are sure of your subject & enthusiastic it really shows & you shine. I wish you & your other half every success I feel confident you are only going to grow stronger & better as you continue on this journey. I am sure I mentioned an inspiration to me Amy Landino an American star who I watched grow & grow Her & her Husband also taught me a lot about making good short Videos / Content. Best wishes to all I am still getting out on my bike & keeping it secret. & just the other day as I was cutting the grass I took off my shirt ( very hot day ) & my wife gave me a compliment. Which really really helped my motivation. Lol Perhaps she just wanted the rest of the Garden done lol. Anyway big love to all & never give up I am doing press ups on the stairs Daily now. With a dampened towel to avoid breathing in carpet dust & I am almost up to 20 without any pain. Yeah for me. Bye

I used to find the advice -the best diet is the one you can stick to- and that you WILL pig out if you restrict really u helpful as I didn-t recognise that/refused to in myself. I have however had such success in eating in a calorie deficit and then upping my calories to maintenance as I lost weight and put on muscle, it needed a bit of tweaking at first as I was too hungry at 1700 calls a day but a bit of testing and I-ve lost the weight I wanted to and am on a sustainable diet. I too still at chocolate and cake but just not as often or as much (half a slice of cake serving spread over two days. It truly is the only advice you should listen to - do NOT restrict

I lost a lot with a keto diet. once in cetosys you can focus on protein intake like just enough for your weight and your metabolic expense. In my case it's 1600 calories a day, meaning 60gr of protein a day. I eat this amount of protein with 8 eggs for example. But I prefer to vary pleasure with other sources, but always measuring the intake. I complete my other nutrients with vegetables. My glucose intake comes from only vegetables like tomatoes, carrots and so on, but only to 5% max. usually I'm under 1600 calories with no hunger as I consume my own fat.

Hey have you ever looked into calorie density? It looks kind of like what you are doing here. It's kind of like focusing on eating more lower calorie foods like fruits, vegetables and starches. It really is close to what you said here. I like that you mentioned that. =)
edit: you totally talked about this at the end, I am soooo excited! We need more people to know about this. In the vegan community we all know about it but in the non vegan community lots of people don't know about it. Thank you so much girl!

My biggest challenge was transition from frying/boiling stuff into cooking on steam. The biggest difference is steamed potato compared to boiled one. Taste is completely different. Honestly, i was using a bunch of sauces at first time to loose that taste but eventually i got used into eating steamed food. This kind of food is high volume food. But what attracts me more is that cooked on steam food looses only about 5% of useful microelements compared to huge 50% loss when you frying things (30% for boiling.

I love your videos! I was listening to a great podcast of calories today, Feel Better Live More podcast: hopefully you will be a guest when you publish a book! (You totally should)
Today I managed to hang on the bar! A first in years- small wins. But thanks to you! I did wonder how old you are? As I-m a 38 year old woman and found loosing weight much harder now older- although intermittent fasting and cutting sugar has helped lots! Yay.
Thanks again for your inspiration: )

be careful with rice crackers. There were traces of synthetic arsenic in them. There is natural arsenic in rice but in the process of converting them to rice crackers the natural arsenic becomes synthetic arsenic wich is a famous poinson. In Germany there is a recommended maximum intake for rice crackers for this exact reason. children shound nt eat ricecrackers until they are 12 or whatever

That is so true. Once I did a vegan months. I not just felt so much lighter and better but I was eating the whole day and lost weight meanwhile. The only problem was time. It was very time consuming to prepare everything all the time. I probably did not do anything else in that months, which was not sustainable.

As usual, such an aspiration you are for me Lucy! I was drowning with all kinds of diets and healthy foods (low carbs, keto, proteins) but after your video I know what to do: try your tips and adjust my food to fit on my daily routine, keep it simple and yummy to last on a long term journey! -

I was reading about how when you stay in a caloric deficit for a long period of time it can be harder to lose weight because your body acclimates to that low caloric intake. Could you talk about caloric zigzag dieting?
Love the vids! -
