Find out what your genes have to say about your weight! New Years Promotion! Go to to save $30 on a Health + Ancestry kit, now through January 31st. I did the 23andme genetic testing service and OMG guys, it explains so much about my weight. Growing up I ALWAYS had trouble losing weight. I was the chubby kid. I was the fat one. When it came to working out and dieting, I had to train so hard and eat so clean to only see results that don't even compare the girls who can eat junk food all day and still have flat abs. So it always made me wonder, am I just supposed to be fat? Am I predestined to have a soft body with no ab definition? Is it in my genes - my DNA - to weigh more? Watch this video to find out what my DNA says about my weight. You'll find the information shocking. It pretty much explains why there is no such thing as a diet or a workout that works for everyone. We are all so different

So I got here through some serious family drama. My ex mother in law has been bad mouthing me everywhere (i forgive you btw. She has instructed people to blacklist me and shame me by scratching their nose because apparently I lied about who I was. Lol! Turns out she had a DNA test done on my daughter. My family has always told me that my grandmother was of Latin descent. The test revealed that she was not and provided a complete background of that fact. I, however, was unaware as my grandmother was adopted. But that's not all! These types of tests can reveal other things as well. LIKE THE FACT THAT SHE HAD AN AFFAIR! My ex is 28 and is just now getting to know his biological father because she wanted to be on some Maury drama. So why she was busy trying to catch me in a lie all of hers were revealed. So word of caution for some of you. You never know what kind of discovery you might find. Lol.

Tried 23 and me last year I absolutely love knowing my ancestry and how my genetics make up who I am.
I also love doing your workout videoes because I feel like I can really relate to you! I was a chubby kid too and it always hurt when someone pointed it out! I went through a phase of trying to eat less etc eventually I decided to workout more. I came across your videos and realized I didn't need to be as skinny as my friends were. I look at my body now and see how strong I am and how confident it makes me to know I'm stronger than I ever was before. My friends tell me now how skinny and pretty I am (but sometimes I still don't see myself as beautiful as some people) then I think of how I actually feel. I feel toned and most importantly healthy! You are an amazing and beautiful woman who reminds me to focus on the positive things in my life, never lose that!

Catching up on your non-workout video(s) before working out, which by the way you should do more of. Guys, cherish what you have! Embrace what makes you different. It makes you unique! Life would be boring if we all looked the same! I seriously get more and more tired of people making fun of others based on the way they look. It's 20FREAKIN'18, it's highly time we get past on how we look on the outside. As long as you're healthy and feel good in your body, then that's the only thing that matters.
No more hate! Stop feeding on negativity! Cassey, thank you again for making us stronger & better! You were the very first person who made me feel beautiful, both on the inside and the outside and quite frankly, I'll never be grateful enough for the way you make me feel and all the positivity you bring me 'k, cue the tears and drama

You inspire me Cassey. My name is actually Cassie too! :) Like you, I have a body type that is meant to be larger than average. It doesn't matter how much I work out or how much I eat, my DNA makes me look the way I do. It can be so disheartening at times because it's like people don't see how strong I am because all they see is someone big. Also, it really sucks when everybody else can eat junk and look skinny but I can't. I just wanted to say thank you for being a role model for so many of us who are struggling with the same issues. You are so strong and beautiful, and you make an incredible impact in so many of our lives. Beauty is was is within, I know it's cheesy, but it really is true. You have a beautiful heart. and I can't wait to keep working out with you so that I can crush some watermelons with my legs! :)

The reason I started and stayed for so many years is because of who you are and actually because of how you look. You're not the crazy diet people who put others down when they don't have that look that they do. You encourage all of us to love ourselves, stay healthy, and feed our bodies properly to be the healthiest and strongest we can be in our individual body types. We are all different and because you know and understand that, we feel good about ourselves. We love and believe in you because you believe in us. We thank you so much for all you do! You are beautiful inside and out and I aspire to be as strong as you and I believe you look absolutely beautiful and perfect just the way you are! Love you!

I relate this to much because I suffer from the exact same thing. On my father's side everyone has an envious model figure without even trying but on my mother's side everyone has a weak metabolism even when everyone diets and exercises and that's what I've herited. Even after eating healthy and exercising regularly I still can't look the way I'm 'supposed' to look and all my cousins on my father's side never fail to remind me of that.
I relate to you Casey and to everyone in this comment section.
Casey, You are my favourite fitness trainer because your videos are so fun and relatable.
Thank You.

Cassey, you're the sweetest internet instructor I have ever came across! It is true that at first, I was a bit sceptical about your workouts but after trying them and seeing the results on myself, I fell in love, both with the workouts and your personality. I love your energy, how motivated, and how inspirational you always are. Your body type is just fine, and you are awesome to me. You taught me to accept my body the way it was, and to workout because I LOVED it and to get STRONGER, instead of doing it just for the looks. You're a gorgeous fitness instructor.
Lots of love

My mom and I both have what you can call chubby arms and even with all the workout she does she has never been able to slim them completely out. For me, every time I go on a diet, in addition to my work out, my arms are always the hardest to see changes in. I feel that everyone has a different type of body and that body can reach a certain point. I never expect to have skinny model arms because even when I was at my thinnest, around 90 pounds for 5 feet, my arms never got the best of it. But I've learned to accept it thanks to you Cassey! Love you!

I just started using your videos and I feel amazing. I already see more definition in my legs. I'm so happy. I was also a very chubby kid and have struggled with my weight over time. I'm not even exaggerating, the first video I watched of you, I thought, Omg. I want to look like her. And that's really what's been motivating me to continue doing your workouts, which KICK my butt. I want to be strong and lean looking like you. I don't know why people think you aren't thin enough to be a fitness instructor. You are like my appearance aspiration haha!

Thank you Cassie! I relate to this so much. I used to be chubby as a kid. As an adult I workout so hard. But it seems like no matter how well I eat or how strong I become I am always a little bit soft. It seems like a flat tummy is not in my destiny. I used to compare myself to other girls who were slender without even trying.
But at the end of the day I am so happy with how strong I have become. I can do so many things that other cannot (pistol squats anyone) and they wouldn't even know it until I've shown them!
