I watch these Motiongate and Warner Brothers world, and to me the stories are just lacking. I think the scenery is really wonderful, but what was the story here. They go to some ceremony. The Smurfs ride was them making a movie. They need better stories. For Flintstones, I don't get why their isn't more amusement parks with a Flintstones themed section. This stuff is so different than regular life. Whether or not you think the Flintstones cartoons / movies are boring or not, the atmosphere of the Flintstones is awesome A Flintstones area to me is better than Avatar or a Star Wars area. In a Flintstones movie, they even go to a carnival, so the rides fit right in. Ride a Brontosaurus coaster. The ONLY thing I've seen Flintstones at an amusement park in the United States is that at one time, Universal had some sets from the Flintstones movie at the park, but these weren't permanent, and it wasn't a full area, or anything.

I feel like what some things need is just. They think if they make something themed about a show, then it's good. But no, make me want to go on it. Make it something for there to SEE that you can't experience through a video. A t shirt for 5 dollars is a t shirt for 5 dollars but if you slap fred flintstones on it don't say it's worth 500. Make that shirt awesome, give it a joke, make it a reference, maybe it super comfortable so not only does it share you're love for the show but it's comfy to wear. Things like that. I don't wait in line all day to go on it's a small world for some cheap dolls, I go on it because of the music, the smell, the infamy, and the fact those dolls move and are based off other cultures. Have this ride tell a story.

I love The Flintstones, but this falls short. The scenery is good, but there needs to be more animatronics. Every one of the human and animal figures should be doing something at least. A good comparison would be to the Sindbad ride in DisneySea. But then I am totally biased by growing up with the Bedrock City theme parks in British Columbia. They were entire Flintstones-themed parks with a a log canoe ride, pedal car ride, train, playground, and movie theatre. Small potatoes in the ride department, but the point was this immersive world that looked exactly like the cartoon. Now if they could have lasted long enough to put animatronic figures in the houses and on the rides, it would have been amazing

I would LOVE to go to Abu Dhabi for the themeparks. But they are not special in any kind of way and that really makes me not want to visit Abu Dhabi. If think that if they would've put some more effort to the animation and hiding ceilings etc. then I would've booked my flight two days ago. But this ain't it chief(maybe fire the person who thought this was a good idea)and also something I need to add: it feels like they've just build something for the money and tourism that brings more money to the state. I'm REALLY dissapointed.

I think the consistent issue I see with this parks rides is the lack of animation within these different settings. Dont get me wrong the Flintstones ride looks great visually but it just has no life to it. The characters are static, theres no movement like they didnt have the budget to have a little more movement in their characters? They dont have to be Disney level of quality but these rides just have no life to them based off these vids: .

Visually bright and adorable, and the character designs are spot on. But I agree, it needs some animatronics. Especially with all of that strong background audio -- It's visually so static that it has the feel of a ride that someone forgot to flip the switch and turn on. (Reminds me of a Disney ride that stopped working - you still get all the audio, but the characters aren't moving: )

Dino and Caberkitty were the best part i was trying to see of it was projection they could easley fix the ride by doing projections onto the more static characters to breath life in, also i think they should have painted the aly and had lighting hidden by big fake cartoon couds

The Flintstones was pretty much defined by its limited animation, but a few minutes of that show had more movement than this entire attraction. Everything is so still and disappointingly lifeless that when Dino and Saberkitty are actually animated and moving around they look uncanny.

I hate that it looks like you are inside a studio with all the lights on the ceiling. It completely ruins everything. It needs to be completely immersive like Splash Mountain. Like you are actually there and not just floating past stage sets.

I don't understand why no one in these parks seems to think about the ceiling. All their rides look like Disney rides with the lights turned on, nothing pulls you out of the immersion more than feeling like you're in a massive warehouse
