I remember going on the ride once or twice, probably around the age of 9 or so. Personally, I loved it and remembered the whole ride to this day. I came out of the ride laughing, and I clearly enjoyed it, but I remember a lot of other people complaining about it as they left the ride. When I went back for a trip a few years later, I was disappointed to see the ride was closed. I would check back every day and ask when it was open again, but nobody knew. The last time I went to Disney last year, I was disappointed to see it was still closed, even if it said just for today. Once again, I checked every day of the trip to see if it was open. Only to find out the ride would never open again. I was heartbroken. Personally, I loved the ride, and I wish I could have gone on it one last time to experience it before it closed. Seeing Stitch and the rest of the animatronics like this is so sad (and borderline creepy, haha. I know Im one of the few people that liked this ride, but I really wish it could have stayed longer. I was hoping to maybe see if it was open the next time I go for whatever reason, but seeing the way the ride is now, I know thats not happening. RIP Stitchs Great Escape - Your ride will always be loved.

Im not scared of any ride at all but I do remember as a kid I hated this crap and me and my mom got nauseous cause of the smell Ik the ride is closed now it is sad I do think this was a cool attraction but thats biased I love stitch in all honesty but this ride terrified me especially when he jumped on my head and shoulders but the way these special effects worked was cool I mean they had like little air vents blow on u to feel like stitch jumped on u and it rlly felt like it but I didnt like being in the dark honestly this comment is all over the place sorry but am I glad this ride is gone for nostalgia no but for the better hell yea this ride is garbage

Well there was an attraction but it was no longer Available to ride on because People complained it was too scary Alien EncounterThey say that In Alien Encounter That it spits out blood and crawls over our necks but When people were too scared to ride it, It was replaced to stitches great escapeIn the video You can see the creature before in alien encounter is STILL there1: 14 that is the alien BEFORE it was mutated to an alien monster When the Alien is mutated it is transformed to the Monster alien thing. Search Alien Encounter Disney World ride and It shows proof Alien encounter used to exist in 2002 but still STITCH IS SO CUTEEEEEEE

People have no respect for animictronics ( well some ) but the ones that just caused him to rot I loved this attraction, he was so well in character, and it was fun to see the robot I mean Disney couldve added more robots like him swinging from the ceiling or popping up in front of you to spray water? Or snarl. Maybe more flashing lights to have him show one place than to another? Or go into another room and sit in a car that can tour you around to follow stitch and see what other trouble hes causing. Wow Im more creative than Disney, yikes.

People need to stop hating on this attraction it has excellent animatronics and extraTERRORrestele (did I spell right) alien encounter was closed because for these 2 reasons i know 1: alien encounter was to scary for the MAGIC kingdom 2: Lio and stitch was a hit back when it came out So dont hate on this attraction even tho its already closed

I find it truly dissapointing that they recycled SO much from Alien Encounter like the main show area and even the Skippy animatronics in the tubes. Many guests acually found the burping Stitch effect nausiating ( sorry if misspelled. And they also found the shoulder bars uncomfortable, truly dissapointing but it was also sad when it shut down.

Im the girl that screamed at the chili dog part its wierd hearing myself when I was only nine I was enjoying the ride and that part just scared me because I was sitting in that spot and I wasnt expecting that. What you cant hear is my mom grabbing my arm and telling me to stop being such a baby she did apologize later though

i went to thisbwhen i was little and when the lights turned out and i head stitch in my ear i started crying i thought he actually escaped and was gonna kidnap mealso, when stitch burped it smelled so bad i wanted to puke. definitely not one of my favorites at the time, but now i wouldve loved to go on it. sad it closed

I went to this back in 08 and i loved it, until i went inside and he escaped. I cried (i was 8) and i had to be led out early by a worker. I got ice cream so it was all good lol. I think they closed this down, which makes me very sad, bc i was hopin to go back and see if i could handle it this time.
