In my opinion, Royal Caribbean succeeded in ruining this cove. We were here just as RC signed the contract to extend their stay adding 80 more years to their original 10. When we were there, there were very few amenities. We had to tender ashore, which was fine; it was a five minute trip. We swam, shopped at the craft market and did a guided walking tour where we learned a lot about the island - it's history, its people and culture. I always thought I'd like to go back but after seeing this, you couldn't pay me to return.

The government needs to do more with all these tourist dollars. This is the result of corrupt politicians. They keep their pockets fat while their countryman suffer. Why don't they understand that if they reinvest in Port au prince, it's infrastructure, education, jobs, etc. it will bring even more wealth to the country by tourism and everyone will prosper. but no, greed overtakes them.

Terrible promotion film. Labadee is beautiful, but so are the Haitians - lovely, friendly & extremely honest. They taught us far more, in one day, about Haiti, its geography, culture & Creole lingo than Royal Caribbean have attempted in years. Your film seems to suggest that your own private holiday resort is devoid of Haitians altogether. Shame on you.

This is not a private island this part attached to our country Haiti this is a big shame for Royal Caribbean treating Haiti like that when they are doing money with corrupt government of this country I hope one day things will change and Royal Caribbean will stop calling Haiti his private island.

John Scott Jan, 2018When we stopped there during our cruise for a 'beach buffet' there were armed guards with automatic weapons patrolling the security fence between the actual Haiti side and Labadee. The passengers don't get to look over the hill and see the squalor that exists there.

That gives me so many memories. I remember walking on that dock and heading to Columbus Cove a few years ago. Take the Oasis of the seas though, it was the best experience of my life.

This is amazing. Absolutely beautiful place. I must ask. will there be a part 2? There are some attractions that I would have love to have seen, namely that big blue water slide.
