Geez. I thought I had seen all your videos, but had never seen this one. So awesome! I was watching in my office while eating lunch and about choked it was so funny. Hate those bugs! Love this video. Lone is my second favorite hike (after Whitney. Been up there 3 times. Actually, I was up there last August 2021 and the next day did Timponogus and saw Danny and Aaron near the top. It was a rainy and windy day. I said hi, but that's it. I've been regretting ever since not saying how much your videos inspire me. Before Mediocre Amateurs, I never would have considered hiking Timp the day after Lone. Who would do that. You guys would. I was staying with my mom and she thought I was a total idiot. But it was awesome! Keep up the great work guys! I'm so grateful!

L one Peak is the monarch of the Wasatch Mountains. This rugged 11, 000+ foot summit is clearly visible from North Salt Lake to Provo. It rises abruptly above the valley floor and affords one the luxury of sitting in a glacial, alpine cirque just miles from the city. The cirque is ringed with near vertical granite walls and offers climbing ranging from Class 3 to 5. 10 YDS. Lone Peak is considered by many to be the hardest 11, 000 foot peak in the Wasatch due to the mileage and elevation gain required to sit atop it's summit

Are you guys the masters of the class 4 climbing scramble? Please do McHenry's notch in RMNP, the route would be from/to Solitude lake. First up Arrowhead on the ledges, up the arete to McHenrys, down the notch back up to Powell, over the arete to Thatchtop and back down to Solitude lake. Reverse if you prefer to upclimb McHenry's notch.

I'm laughing my butt off right now and not just because of the garbage bag sledding. It's because of the cologne comment. I said the same thing to my friend yesterday coming down from Red Pine. I know I'm getting close to the bottom when everyone I pass smells like lotion and hairspray. So true!

Went there on a Memorial Day weekend with my brother and friends many years ago. Much of the way I remember it with snow, ice, sliding, etc. Except we traversed the ridge from the left instead of climbing straight up the cliffs like you. Fun times.

Looks like you you guys found Pete's Staircase. My fav way to get up to the summit, I love cutting out all that extra trail. Really enjoying all the vids, just been addicted to watching them all. Getting stoked for this season in the Wasatch!

Scary solo there. Surprised you guys haven't gotten into any roped climbing. Could do a lot of cool alpine sumits with a short skinny rope and a small set of nuts and hexes, simul-climbing.

The whole bug swallowing section had me laughing to the point of tears and pain! Fing ridiculous. Next time I'm out on a hike in a buggy area, I will remember this video and crack up.

Just stumbled upon this as I prepare an ascent of that peak. Definitely won't be scaling the wall though! Good job and good video.

. Blake's gonna go first so if he falls to his death I'll know that area of snow is off limits for those who want to live.

I don't even bother watching your videos before clicking like. It's just easier to get it out of the way first.

F'ing hilarious. Now do it with a stinkbug. It's been 15 years and to even think about it makes me gag.
