Plans change and in our case they change often and quickly. In an effort to dodge the endless snow still lingering in the Wind River Range we seek the comfort of the Highline trail. Then we ruin the easy going by hiking late into the night and covering a distance we never planned on

Did this route two years ago and it was the hardest thing Ive ever done. Your commentary has had me cackling out loud and crying of laughter remembering how brutal it was. I just went back to the Winds a week ago and did a much more enjoyable slower fishing trip. Love your guys content. Keep it up!

Super great video. It's so funny. I feel like the Blake of my group. I always seem to b complaining at some point during the trip. Then feel great and am able to rock it. The whole map thing was on point too. The route always seems so easy on the map then u get out there. Great vid, really enjoyable.

I was going to ask what you are packing, but I am more interested in what you are not packing. Packs seem quite small for a three-day, especially considering the amount of calories you must be carrying. Thanks.

I love this stuff. I thought death canyon and the rim trail back to alaska basin was premo back in the mid 1970s.
I would love to have the knees to attempt this in my older age.

I noticed Blake took trail spikes but u didn't. Did u regret that? And why not take waterproof boots instead of trail runners. Is the weight saving worth soggy feet?

This is incredible terrain! But now my paltry 30 mile off trail traverse I did with a friend up here now just doesn't seem quite as cool. You guys are beasts!

Awesome guys! Its hilarious how blake always wants to jump in the coldest possible water when he sees it. you guys are all awesome!

I'd love to see what's in your packs. Seems ultralight. Cold food only? small pack and bag and pad? Obviously no bear canister.
