The Polar Express Train ride in Williams, Arizona is a popular family attraction in December that people come from all over to experience. I had never even heard of it till I had kids but in 2022 we set out to ride this train and make a multi day road trip out of the visit. Here is the full video of our 2 days in Williams Arizona for the Polar Express, which includes a trip to the Grand Canyon and to an alpaca farm

Merry Christmas y'all! Bet you will have a FABulous time. Interesting getaway - I'd guess 4+ would love this - I guess a good way to gauge, would be what's your kid's attention span? As you said hour & half is a long time in a two-year old's world! But I bet they'll still remember it - def take them back in a few years & trying taking them down the Canyon a little, just to get an idea of the SIZE of the thing. Be very difficult for a little one to judge that! Happy Christmas Josh & Family from Tasmania!

We took our disabled son about 14 years ago and I have been thinking we need to go again. He loved it especially when Santa came through - his whole face just lit up! We camped at the KOA and I would like to spend more time in Williams. We live in So Cal: ) too. We love CA and have had a great life here (originally from NE PA. I've been to 56 NPs and planning to finish in 2023. My son and I enjoy your videos!

That looks like a lot of fun for the kids, what a great gift from your in-laws. Your wife is beautiful, and the twins are adorable! We have (grown) twins too, identical girls. Yours are at such a busy age! Our son was 22 months old when his sisters were born, so craziness haha! So well worth it though, enjoy your wonderful family!

I went with 2 of my grandsons 3 years ago. Oldest at that time was 9 yrs old and the youngest was 2. I agree, 2 was too young. We live in Indiana and we went to the Polar Express in Connersville about an hour from Indianapolis. All the adults wore PJ's as did the kids. We all had fun, but wish my youngest was older at that time.

Merry Christmas! As a twin parent, I remember the hectic toddler days. You'd be surprised what they might remember. We are not fans of the movie (kids always thought it was creepy and weird) so we never did the train ride. However, seeing this video I think we might go sometime! Enjoy your Christmas.

What a cool gift there Josh from your in-laws! Looks like a whole lot of fun and very cool to include an overnight stay. I haven't been but I'd love to check it out one of these years.

So coolwe did the one in St Louis, and I agree that the staff were incredibly fun and entertaining for the kids. Its not something I would do without kidsnot exactly a date night or ladies night out type of event. Lol but definitely fun with little ones who still Believe!

Looks like an amazing place to visit. The Grand Canyon is just breathtaking. Cute to see the family having fun and enjoying the holiday. The Polar Express is all about the train, less about the views. Thanks for sharing. Merry Christmas to you and yours.

The Grand Canyon is majestic all year around, but snow adds a certain je ne sais quoi to the sight! I had been to the Grand Canyon more than a dozen times without ever seeing snow, but when I saw the canyon covered in snow, it took my breath away.

I kinda binge watched your videos today and recollected some of the places I been that you and your dad went. Enjoyed them but it kept bugging me you call state lines borders. I always considered Borders surrounding country's not states?

Hahaha you wore the Christmas sweater. That's awesome they got to see snow in the GC of all places. Merry Christmas Josh and co. Even if they don't remember anything, I'm sure they will remember the feeling.

I will say this looked more fun than the movie haha. My wife and I went to the grand canyon in november and only saw light snow. I wanted to wish you, Pops, and the family a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.

I loved this! It wasn't around when my kids were kids. I appreciate seeing it with your kids & wife. You can go back when they're about 5 yrs old and they should remember it always!

Travelled to Grand Canyon from UK, not sure what is wrong with me, but was not awe inspired, regret not going down into the canyon to experience it a little better. Love America though

I went to the Grand Canyon in early November and there was snow on the ground at that time too, looks like it was a nice family adventure.

Next time you do this trip with the kids, take them to the North Pole experience in Flagstaff. The kids will have a blast.
