Azores - an extremely green and isolated place, with a unique climate and ecstatic scenery. In this episode we will travel to San Miguel, Faial, Flores Islands and see what the largest endemic collection of plants and birds in the world looks like. Pursuit: I live in the central valley of California and am surrounded by people of Azorian ancestry. Many go back in the summertime for the festas. I have done a lot of research on the history wondering how so many Californians came from these tiny islands. Your documentary answered some of those questions.

Hello everyone talks about the beautiful places to go and all the activities you can get into, but no one talks about the quality of food and is it filled with GMO, pesticides or a bunch of hormones, and are they process foods which in the long run can cause gut disease, IBS and even Gastritis, and lessen the quality of a person's life. Are the foods home grown or hybrid, or shipped in from other countries which can ruin a person health? Are the foods in these different countries safe meaning are they locally grown by local farmers or shipped from other countries? These things are facts people need to know as well, and would you please start putting them in your report?

I just came back from a trip to the acores after I didnt really travel at all during the pandemic. And holy sh! t it was awesome! I had such a great time, although i only visited pico and faial. The landscapes are stunning, the people are lovely - its such a unique beautiful place. ill definetely come back and visit the other islands as well. I am very grateful to have visited this little paradise! its also great for whale watching: )

Great video. I was disappointed that the island of Terceira was left off of your itinerary. I lived there for three years and have wonderful memories. Angra is a world heritage city, so, it's not like there's nothing to see there.

And again, I fall in love with my own archipelago! I truly feel I have luck to be born and raise in a paradise - and in the summer (as in the winter, it's amazing!
Big hug from Terceira Island!

7: 50 onwards. The forest is japanese sugi monoculture. None of the scenes during the minute showed any native forests. Invasive non native species are the most common plants people see there.

I want to see the islands but I have to suffer through this hipster NPC's editing, music and intensely punchable face. Amazing islands, though.

Azores is beautiful, I-ve been there many times as a kid, I-m half Portuguese and Ecuadorian so for my island getting some recognition is nice.
