New Hampshire Seacoast Travel Guide - Portsmouth, Dover, Hampton Beach New Castle - the most desirable location in NH to live with the lowest
property tax rate in the state. Yes, no sales tax, no income tax, and
good living. Drive through the island on one of the most scenic byways
in America! Its only a one-hour drive to Boston and top medical
facilities, and only a one-hour drive to the mountains and lakes region.
Live here, and you can walk to the town park and beach on the ocean,
downtown Portsmouth for dining and shopping, and paddle in the back of
Little Harbor. You can also walk to the highly desirable elementary
school and two yacht clubs. The grand hotel, Wentworth-by-the-Sea, the
marina, and the country club are on the south side of the one-square
mile island. Its a small town loaded with history - Fort Constitution,
Portsmouth Lighthouse, and Fort Stark. It sits across the Piscataqua
River from the Portsmouth Shipyard where you can watch the ships and
submarines sail out beyond the Isles of Shoals, just nine miles
offshore. Had enough of California Come east, and consider coastal
casual island life in New Castle.

Great drone footage, I’ve stayed at days inn Dover it’s definitely affordable, quiet and indoor pool walking distance to multiple restaurants and bars. Another overlooked town is Newmarket with an excellent brewery and the lamprey river for stripper fishing and kayaking. Stay up the street on the unh campus in Durham at the holiday inn express, walkable to several retailers and college bars.

i just love how you didnt mispronounce any of the names. alot of travelers do. anyways dover is a seacost town because of dover point, which is were the cove is. their is two river join to the sea and no one is allow to swim in it because of the under water currents are so strong. and on clear sunny days you can see the currents. its so pretty but deadly

I grew up in New Hampshire. I saw you guys did the New Hampshire coast and the Lakes Region and White Mountains. One area you missed was Western New Hampshire. Great stuff to check out there: The Monadnock Mountains, Keene, Peterborough, Connecticut River Valley. If you're back in New England you should check that area out!

Born in the old Portsmouth Hospital and raised in Rye. Love everything about our beautiful area. This is one of the most extraordinary videos I have seen of the area and has given me places to revist. Loved seeing my brothers beautiful Adirondack Chairs situated on the lawn at Philbricks By the Sea in Rye. Nice bonus.

Thanks for posting this! I moved to Coastal Maine after living in Pinellas County and Carrollwood for 37 years. I am moving to Hampton Beach soon and cannot wait! It's wide soft sandy beach reminds me of Clearwater and Sand Key Beaches 35 years ago and a little Tarpon Springs Boardwalk tossed in! Love your content.

Visit New England states every year almost. Been in Dover and Portsmouth. Concheco River as well. Is a beautiful countryside. Due to My love of lighthouses have Portsmouth lighthouse on My list. This video does New Hampshire justice. The story of the founding of New Hampshire loved it.

Thanks for the wonderful videos. I always enjoy your tours and the information is wonderful. My ancestors Chartered Derry (Originally named Nutfield, NH) in 1719. They are buried in Forest Hills Cemetery in the original old town. Thanks for the visit to NH Coastline.

Absolutely AMAZINGLY produced! The way in which you bring out the feel of my state is incredible. Live Free or Die!
I would also like to point out that the original Memorial Bridge, built in 1923, was replaced by the new Memorial Bridge seen in this video in 2013!

Dover's not a nice place to live anymore, thanks to all of the Massachusetts moving in. 2008-2014 Dover was a place I could call home. Our culture, price of living and community have been stripped from us by these crackpots from different states.

Hampton Beach. skip it. If you are into cold water like that, there are much nicer beaches in Maine. I like the south facing beaches on Cape Cod, and in Rhode Island, where the water temperature is more pleasant. Plus Hampton Beach is crowded.

At 6: 30 on the left side of Market street you can see a white fence with a large Chestnut tree overhead. Local lore has it that the tree was planted by William Whipple in 1776 after returning from signing the Declaration of Independence.

Hi, I’ve enjoyed all your videos of the area of New England I was just wondering how many days does one need to see it all including Maine. Thank you for such a well documented video.

I lived in Colorado for 10 years, so the north east winters won’t even affect me. Grew up in California for 21 years. Living in Oklahoma now. Can’t wait to go to New Hampshire!

Dover is also technically a seacoast city since it's the home of Dover point and great bay, and downtown dover has a salt water marina where a friend of mine keeps his boat

Great video! I'm planning a trip to New England and I found out your two amazing videos of New Hampshire. Those are amazing footage! The aerial views are stunning, especially on fall.

this reminds me of the Budweiser Super Bowl commercial featuring merrimack when it didn't really. This video is definitely good enough to run during the Super Bowl. Outstanding

Portsmouth is a fun town. The rest of the NH coast is fine but just go north into Maine and it gets far better. Just my humble opinion from a native of the region

Dover is great because it's just a short ride to York Beach, or kittery outlets while close to Portsmouth. And yes, food here has variety.
