This is a video of my overnight solo winter camping trip at the Andies Prairie Sno-Park in the Oregon Umatilla National Forest. I backpacked in but didn't bring a tent so I had to construct a bushcraft shelter in the deep snow. I made camp at Andies Prairie Sno-Park. It was 28 F 2 C) with about 12 feet (3. 6m) of snow. I cooked dinner and breakfast over the fire and had a great time!

While the effort to accomplish all this was admittedly impressive, from both a winter camping and survival standpoint there are so many things wrong with this it's hard to know where to start. It's almost an education in what not to do. Entertaining though it was to watch you dig that death pit for yourself. I'm glad you had a great time, and the video came out nicely, but I hope nobody's taking this as a how-to for winter survival because this could have ended very badly.

Imagem a piece of snow falling into your mouth hole you sleep, or a animal jumps over your underground house bc it thinks its a layer of snow no one thought about that
