We did one of your no-no's for our honeymoon in Turkey. After the first week on our own in our lovely hotel, (there was no crack in the bed. It was very romantic, went on a sunset cruise and a Jeep safari and just relaxed. The second week we had some friends come over. Yes I know its wrong but we all had a great time. The one condition, everybody had to stay in a different hotel from us. Only two problems. My wife nearly drowned getting out a boat. She was in the water when a huge wave sent the small motor boat up in the air and came crashing down beside her. The boat hadn't hit her but the force of the boat hitting the water briefly knocked her out. She was fine though, except when we were in a restaurant later, she lent forward and water poured out of her nose! Then later that week she had an accident on a hotel waterslide and had to go to hospital for an X-ray on her arm. Luckily nothing broken.

I can beat the crack in the bed. after our wedding we booked a minimoon to Barcelona for 3 days just one week after our wedding but before our proper honeymoon in Paris (which was lovely)
I booked a last minute break and when we arrived our hotel had put us in a family room for 4 with two sets of bunk beds!
I'm still not allowed to book any trips.

Mark, what would you say to someone who's been waiting to see the world until he has that special someone to share it with? None of us are guaranteed a spouse, so in some cases, might it be better to just go and see things while you're still young enough to be running around from place to place?
reply

always the crack in the middle! =) but there is an option on booking. com to have the big bed. why dont you use it? there most oftenly is a choice you need to check to separate beds together or one big bed.

So many beautiful cheesy pics! Very good video, less informative than usual, but it is so nice to know you better! Been in Rome few months ago and discovered by the worst way the crack in bed LOL

Mark, I know this may seem like a weird ass question, but did you keep your high school graduation gown, or did you throw it away or give it away? Thanks.

Lots of cheezy pictures indeed. Thank God I'm a cheezaholic. ;)
Yep. I have NO clue why our hotelbeds are like that. If I find out why, i'll let you know: )

Great video, as always! Question: Is it possible to ask the hotel to give the couple a REAL bed? Like paying extra for that type of service. Hi from Brazil
