Hi Mark. Another good video. I laughed when I found out you're from Quincy, IL. I am from Bettendorf, IA. How about 10 things to do in the Quad Cities? I can hardly suggest that without laughing my head off!
Love your videos. I was in central and eastern Germany in May and will return in Sept for Vienna, Budepest, Prague and Oktoberfest in Munich! A bucket list for me to have my family with me for that! Safe travels!

I have lived in Memphis all my life and the rendezvous is a tourist trap. Locals dont go there and the bbq is overrated. Interstate BBQ owned by the neely family is the best along with central bbq. Jerrys snow cones is also a must if you stop here.

My favorite restaurants in Memphis is Corky's Ribs and BBQ on East Poplar (best BBQ chicken I've ever had. Burrell's used to be excellent but they closed. A friend of mine suggested The Pig on Beale although I've never eaten there.

Hes not lying! Theyre all delicious! You cant go wrong with any of them to tell you the truth! Why go to Las Vegas when you can have this food experience and go drive only 20-30 minutes tops to the Tunica, Mississippi casinos!

At Central BBQ you can ask for the nachos Yankee style, and it's fries instead of chips! I think it's a little up charge, and it's not on the menu, but it's my favorite way to have them!

Mark, please, you are a well educated and a man of culture, you have a PhD, but you were speaking with your mouth full. Please mind your manners!
Nevertheless, great food.

I wish I knew you came to Memphis. I live here. You should have went to Jack Oirtle's chicken and got the country fried steak sandwich or chicken livers.

Cool to see you in Memphis. The beer scene as really been growing the past few years. Central is my go to for BBQ, I always have the nochos.

There's one place with better fried chicken than Gus's, and that's Uncle Lou's. Slogan: If the Colonel had our recipe, he'd have been a General!
