We enjoyed a great four days exploring Marrakech, Morocco this week and the most exciting and fun part was exploring the medina or market area. Here is just five minutes of walking through the Medina in Marrakech. No commentary, just so you can see a bit of the fun, the colors, the sights of Marrakech. MissBlondieBlood: Wow! I just came back from Marrakech and wondered if you have been there. and if there is a video from you about that place. Now I've just seen, that you have been in Marrakech just a few days before me. :) It's a small world!

Nice video. You did a good job of capturing the congested craziness of a bazaar. My favorite in Morocco is in Tangier. I got lost in the sprawling Medina in Fez. We hired a teenager who was more than happy to guide us back to our riad, via his family's several carpet shops of course! While markets can lead to sensory overload, I always felt physically safe. One memorable experience in Fez was walking into a sketchy-looking, run down cafe (had that local look) for a cup of tea. That unassuming place had an upstairs deck that had a million dollar view overlooking all of Fez. And no, I don't remember the name and probably couldn't find it again.

Marrakech is pure chaos and I loved it! And the medina is even more alive at night! (When I was there during Ramadan, everyone was breaking the fast at night too)
This video brings back some amazing memories for me (and some bad ones that aren't related to the city itself. Cool to see you all there

Great vid once again. I visited Marrakech about 5 years ago. Had a great time. Hired a guide for a drive up into the Atlas Mountains. Got a few nice carpets. Loved the food there too.
BTW, I had Tone Loc's Funky Cold Medina playing in my head when I was walking through there.

We spent 6 days in Marrakech a few years ago, it's a wonderful place. It's pretty full on, so we escaped to the Majorelle garden when it got too much. Personally I preferred Fez as it's less tourist bias, but it makes Marrakech lanes seem very wide.

This is actually a terrific video. Whoever's idea that was was a winner. I'd say it wasn't Marks as he loves to talk too much lol. Lovely market and stalls a real Arabic melting pot. Your nearly expecting Indiana Jones to burst through.

Did you feel safe at all times or were you unsure about certain areas? Would you recommend travelling to the Sahara for camel rides and sleeping in tents? Thank you for this footage please share more if you can.

It's a lot like the Souks in Bahrain, or the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul or markets in Cancun. I didn't see the aggressive shop keepers that normally are on the outer shops where they can lure tourists.

Just found your video and fell in love with it, currently on a binge. Good production quality and personality. Very respectful towards these cultures and relevant commentary. Thanks!
