Coming from old Ljubljanese stock (admittedly a rare breed nowadays, I can assure you that the REAL Ljubljanese way of pronouncing the name is - and always was, since time immemorial - LUB'LANA. (Loob-LAHNA, with the accent on the second syllable, which is long and drops considerably in pitch) Even easier, right? :)

like they recycle in the cities but go to villages around and you see McDonald's drive trough bags on the side of the road and McDonald's is around 20-30km away
