we head to Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom park the day before Hurricane Dorian was supposed to make landfall in the central Florida area. (The hurricane path has since been updated and shifted) We start by taking a look at the parking lot in the TTC, it's pretty much a ghost town, not many cars at all. We also get to see behind some of the construction fences because they've removed the scrim and tarps in preparation for the heavy winds. It doesn't look like much, just some dirt piles and concrete at this point. We head over to the ferry and into the park. We got to ride one of the Main Street vehicles over to Cinderella Castle and then we back track a little up Main Street to see the Trolley Show, they're in their Autumn attire now. We also get to see some very low crowd levels and ride wait times. Then we end the day by heading over to Casey's to see what the new hotdog is. It's a fried pickle dog and they also have loaded corndog nuggets, so we tried both! They were both surprisingly delicious! We recommend trying them if you're into that sort of thing. Then we head home to get ready to wait out the storm, we hope this will give you some idea of what the park might be like if you're planning a trip during Florida's hurricane season

I live in Charleston Tim, and my goodness, with Dorian, we got hammered pretty hard. I have roofing damage and downed trees, Thank God it didn't come ashore as a cat 3! It would have been horrific! Hurricane Hugo which was a Cat 5 before it made a direct hit on Charleston in 1989, was a Total Nightmare, as a Cat 4 hurricane, with winds gusting over 180mph, that was at the time, the most catastrophic and costliest hurricane to hit the east coast since Andrew. Since then 30 years later, I always remember the night it hit, the howling winds, the microburst tornado's snapping trees like tooth picks at the trunks, I just thanked God and prayed a lot.

Any chance you could do a vlog about how the EV parking works at Disney and Universal? We are picking up a Model 3 soon and wanted to get some insight on how it really works. What happens if the chargers are full? Do you have to go back out and park in a regular spot when your car is done charging? Thanks for all you guys do. It was great meeting you and Jenn outside of Smugglers Run on the passholder preview. I had the same stroller as you guys, for our 19 month old. Talk to you soon.

Just got home from Disney and catching up on videos- my kids were like I bet Tim's at MK today for the before the storm video. We took a hurricane day, spent it at the resort pool until 8pm. Rain didn't start until 930/10ish. Bright and sunny the next morning. We really lucked out and it made for a super enjoyable vacation the next few days bc the parks were EMPTY. My 4yr old spent a solid 20 mins running around and playing with Alice in the maze in the UK pavilion on 9/4.

Hey Tim, together with my Girlfriend we visited DisneyWorld from the 25th of August, till the 8th of September, we did see you walking through Toy Story Land on the 28th of August but we were to shy to walk over to you, as you were held up by more people already. You're awesome dude and next time we'll see you, we will definetly like to meet you and give you Stroopwafels from the Netherlands: )

hello there, its Michael from NYC. I was the one who was there by Casey's waiting for you to finish your hot dog before saying hello. Finally I met a Disney celebrity in the parks! WOOO HOOOO Thank you for being so cordial and once again, congrats to both you and Jenn

Just now watching this - SOOOOO reminds me of, and makes me wistful for, my halcyon Disney World days in the 90's. Sigh. So glad FL was not badly affected by Dorian, but so sorry for everybody that was.
Big hugs to you and Jenn, Baby Boy Tiny Tacker, and Bandit!

You can thank me, I used my will power to push the hurricane away from me and my perfect vacation.
No joke it was a fun week and I'm glad that that the hurricane missed. Sorry we cant say the same for the unfortunate people in the Bahamas though.

Aw man, we were at MK that morning and didn't see you! It's still my dream to meet Tim and Jenn. Won't be back til 2021, though. Love that you quoted step brothers! That's a favorite reference around our house!

We got to be the first customers into Caseys on our trip in April. My 2. 5 yr old son got to throw out the first pitch and he got a baseball brownie. Love the little things like that at Disney.

Tim, they want you to believe and think it's a hurricane but it's NOT they are lying to you. it's a NASA GEOINGENERED WEATHER SYSTEM and the HAARP causing it you will be fine
