TheTimeTracker the plug are actually install the correct way as they were once designed for. If any metal object was to fall on it, It would first hit the ground, or if it did hit the ground and one of the leads it would pop the breaker for safety. The current way was because people like the smiling face look, and electricians would be ask to install them this way, and it bypasses the safety because of a trend in style and it stuck. It's also way also all hospital sockets are installed the real way. ( upside-down smiley face)

That floor plan is one of my favorites. We owned a house across the street from a large lake in our state and we had a family room and two bedrooms downstairs and kitchen dining living room and master upstairs. The views day and night were unobstructed and awesome. Miss that place, it was so relaxing and beautiful.

When I was taught in electrical school to put the outlets like that. The example my professor used when he was a kid a belt buckle slide down the wall and it made contact to the two prongs and arched. If you flipped it it would have made contact to the ground first vs the hot and common

My husband and I live in Vero. The resort is on Orchid Island, that's the reason for orchids in the rooms. We also have a turtle statue trail and the McKee Botanical Gardens is a beautiful place to check out.

Ok I know the scale seems weird for vacation, however, there are many times I wish I could weight my suitcase to make sure I dont have any issues upon arrival at the airport!

We do something similar, with our son, at home with our shells. We write the name of the beach we found it and the year and put them in a glass jar.
