we head to Walt Disney World's EPCOT to have lunch in space! We had lunch at the all new Disney restaurant, Space 220! This is a sit down restaurant that features a pre fixe menu. Lunch includes an appetizer and a main course and it's priced at $55 (at the time of filming this vid) and dinner is priced at $79 and includes 3 courses, an appetizer, a main and a dessert. There is also a kids menu for lunch and dinner and it's priced at $29 per person and is for kids aged 9 and under. You start your meal by taking the space elevator up 220 miles above Florida where you eat aboard the Centauri Space Station. You'll be surrounded by beautiful views of space, other space crafts and people enjoying space. We tried the cauliflower appetizer, the coffee rubbed steak and the vegan carrot cake. We had a really great time at the space station and enjoyed all the food we tried but we can't wait to get back and try more menu items soon!

SPace 220 is reserved only for the elite. There was no way for me to make a reservation. Even at 12AM on the exact spot when it starts the reservation period, the app somehow shows that there is an error with the link. Been checking on this EVERYDAY and everyday it says the same thing. Next thing you know it says that all reservation are booked. Yeah, I think Disney dont want CERTAIN people to go in.

Did that lady your were interviewing just admit that you have to suspend disbelief in the elevator and also mention that they had ilm create the graphics? I fear disney will be coming out at any moment with a cane to yank her into the backstage area to wipe her memory, lol. That is so fun and awesome you got invited there and to eat there.

As I was watching this, I was thinking about how this would be a great spot to start an alien haunted house. You go up to the space station then an alien monster pops out of the elevator when you get to the top with a scarecrow being tossed in first. And then you have to find a way out before getting captured by the alien monster.

Tim: There is a lightsaber battle happening outside the window. Do you think they're just playing around, or do you think they're really having a duel?
Me: Sorry Tim, did you mean. a Star War?

I love themed dining but fear Disney will try substituting revenue developments for attractions. I am becoming disillusioned with Disney upper management. Do they understand what creates the magic?

This reminds me SO much of Mars2112 which use to be a Mars themed restaurant in NYC. They closed down a long time ago but this place reminds me of it

The liquified salt will make sense once you get your space food. VERY salty! Regular salt in space would not go well. therefore liquified salt is the answer

Going to Epcot tomorrow & have been trying to get a reservation there since it opened. So difficult! Hopefully I get lucky tomorrow.

I love how the elevator pays tribute to the Flight to the Moon/Mission to Mars attractions- no one does homage like Disney.

Thank you and great job as always! Everyone has their likes and dislikes but, it confirmed that I have no reason to go there.
