I agree about Enchantment. Why is it just a bunch of random movie clips? Its the anniversary of the park so why not have footage of what happened on opening day like the dedication, footage of opening day attractions, songs from the opening day attractions and shows as well as video and voiceover segments of Walt and the original imagineers. They should have clips of characters from the attractions and not just characters from the films especially the more modern ones. Why does this seem like a less impactful, disjointed version of HEA? It lacks the heart and soul of Walt and his vision& how Roy worked so hard to bring the WDW project to fruition. I love Disney movies and the iconic movie scenes, but just arranging a jumble of famous Disney film gifs and projecting them on the castle is not particularly inspirational or representative of the significance of the 50th anniversary. I kept thinking this does not meet the moment. It just doesnt have the heart and soul of previous shows. Really disappointing

Maybe it's just been a long day, but enchantment did make me cry. I think it's because to me, Disney World was magical to witness through the eyes of my children because they truly BELIEVE in the magic. Kind of like Santa and Christmas. It's special because they make it special. So the you are the magic bit got me. We, the people whom love Disney, and love the stories we make it special, and we are what's keeping Walt's vision alive. IDK. It could also be because I was thinking about Harmonious at Epcot, and how it's a we're all in this together kinda mentality. That's what I am happy to see as a part of these shows. Don't get me wrong, Happily Ever After made me feel all the feels and was amazing, but give this a chance? I should also add I've only been to WDW once with my own family in February of 2020 and once as an 8th grader and I hardly remember that time so, I have a little bit less of a connection. idk. just my 2 cents.

Now that I've seen Enchantment in person, I have to disagree with Tim a little on the reaction to it. I thought it was great! Was it better than HEA? No, but it was a good replacement. I'd say it was nearly on-par, if anything maybe a half step down. But they did a really good job with this one. The fireworks were great, the projections were really cool, and of course Tinker Bell was wonderful as always. I definitely felt emotion after seeing it, even though it wasn't as much as HEA. I only wish the transitions between songs was a little smoother. And I liked this one WAY better than Harmonious. That one was just meh.

The lights were nice on the show, but it sounded terrible. In your Epcot video, the guy was saying they blended it together, but it sounded like a loud mess mashed together. They should have stuck with the classic When you wish upon on a star, Snow White song and Fantasia. I was wondering if they ask for vaccine proof at entrance? I was watching clip of the morning show and it was packed with very few people wearing masks. Thats a little scary.

It looked pretty, but honestly this new fireworks show feels pretty underwhelming. Both Wishes & Happily Ever After left more of an impact on me than this one did.
I see why they did it, between the dressed up castle & adding more of the modern stuff (Onward, Luca, Soul, but it felt like the song selection was weak. It was also sometimes hard to see the characters projected.

Imo the 50th would have been the best timing to just scrap the firework forever and work with drones instead. Their projections are already the main thing you're looking at. There's no need to produce TONS of environmental pollution every evening with all of that firework. :/
They've enough money to set an example for other parks.

I didnt feel anything after watching the new fireworks show, unlike HEA, where it hit me on an emotional level.
I feel like the new fireworks show was created in order to shoehorn in movies from the last 5 years, as if they HAVE to be featured. Because RELEVANCE.

Simply, do not like the new show. Not big on all the projections. Music, fireworks and lights changing mono colors covering the castle. simplicity at best. However the projections are better then the old tech of laser light shows in fog or water.

I have a second home in Savannah, and there's a place called Treylor Park, and the PB and J wings are a popular item there. Overall, those wings were surprisingly good. Also, it's cool to see Disney is stepping it up with the celebration
