15 Things You NEED to Know About Life in NORTH KOREA Shadowcat107: While watching the video you went for seven day in North Korea. It made me feel uneasy and locals are scared to talk with you. There's not too much luxury places, no beautiful shopping areas and no expensive cars. You can't go on your own while your vacation in North Korea. You can do whatever you like in South Korean. In North Korea it seemed more controlled and you didn't have much freedom. You must worship the first leader of North Korea. People in North Korea don't know how life is outside of North Korea. :(

Talking abbout north Korea we are discussing abbout an undoubtedly opressing above imagination regime, comparing it in with the socialist states without any framework is pure anticommunism without any logical ground. That can be offensice especially to people who lived in western democracies and lived under opressing dictatorships and lost relatives during these times.

Damn, for awhile now, I thought about going to North Korea to visit. It seems so surreal and bizarre that a backwards country stuck in time still exists, that I have to see it before it ever comes down. But, as a south Korean and American, I think that would be super risky. Like you said, there's much more political motive to do something bad to me while I'm there.

I was bullied for being from a South Korean family instead of a North Korean family. Now, I keep on wondering that I was going to die if I tell everyone who I truly am. My South Korean life might be on the edge. I just dont know how much longer my life will last with everyone assaulting me about where Im from.

Hahhahahahaa. I came to America and this is the place I can be really who I am.
I guess someone forgot to tell her how 'systematically racist' this country is. (Sarcasm)
Great, insightful video. Ten thumbs up.

Those staged dancing situations would have creeped me out! Too weird. I could never go to a place like that because I have a glass face. (By looking at my face you can see what I'm thinking.

Today it's not only Pyongyang which is the movie set for the foreigners, it is extended to the whole country as foreigners are brought to visit the fake country side

So if anyone is willing to make the sacrifice, we can go north korea and spread as much information to the people as we can, the truth of world and other things
reply

It's like a special Truman show. That's Why it's practically a movie set for tourists, that's why the people purposefully don't look at you, it seems.

Why doesn't South Korea apologize to Vietnam? Do you think it is a human rights issue? Do you think it will work in the world?
