I do live in Pakistan
and I want to tell you that those are the upper mountainous parts of Pakistan are filled with very friendly people I can say from experience
and the bouncy part is wort it to almost die in a river (personal experience)

Well atleast i know this since im Pakistani- i just dont live there-
And yes there are a whole lotta people there that look European, usually pathans but im from punjab and I myself had a green eyed, blonde haired white looking uncle.
