I couldnt find my other post about traveling the summer in Italy. Here is a tentative travel plan. Any suggestions on getting from place to place? Should I rent a car at some points Vespa at other points, or just try to public transit the entire trip?
Fly into Milan
Lake como, sleep in Varenna(3)
Go thru Verona to
Dolomites, sleep in Bolzano or Castelrotto(3) Venice(4)
Cinque terre, sleep in vernazza(3)
Go thru Pisa
Florence(14) with day trips
Assisi(1, Orvieto(1, visit Cortona?
Train to
Amalfi coast, sleep in Positano(10)
Capri(5)
Train to Rome(7)

Is a beautiful country if you have to stay few weeks and you have generous wallet. (and actually, also, the so called super green pass) the problems arrives when you R E S T. did you have any idea abt pays? Bill? Rent? Taxes? Retirement contributions? Cost of life? Quality of life? Quality of air, water, earth, fields, food, (terre dei fuochi - fires lands, highest corruption index, worst burocracy system in Europe. i can say that stuffs because i leave italy last year

I will never visit Italy again. There are a zillion other places on this planet just have incredible landscapes and marvellous food. Any place that discriminates against unvaccinated persons can get swallowed by the ocean or destroyed by wild fires for all I care.

So, I want to know why it took so long for Italy to get consolidated after ITS history of 12, 000 years of bloodshed? Yet this fantastic PLACE = tons of people adore and cherish life - is NOW the place to be (after a pandemic & a very idiotic incursion.
