Lexie, I have personally been to Petra last summer. I saw this guy personally and he was with some woman leading a horse cart and later riding a horse. He was so eye-catching once I have seen this video I instantly recognized him. I have him on video too (I can send it if you want): . Seemed legit to me to be fair.

These people saved me when I went up that cliff after running out of water after 10 hours of hiking most of Petra! They made fresh black tea and offered some bread. Super great people. Would love to go back again.

It's worth noticing that they are treating their animals really badly there! Don't ever be a cause of it and just don't use their donkey services. But still Petra is indeed an amazing place
