Get a free preview of my upcoming book: To see more of my daily adventures Kanguruo: We do need an international language that is much easier to learn than English and that is neutral, that is a language which is not the national language of any country. Such a language exists. It is called Esperanto. It is used much more widely than many people assume, but still needs to be better known. I speak it and found it useful while travelling in Finland, Hungary, France, etc.

I am an first generation Chinese American, which means I am an immigrant. English is not my first language. I can understand most of the English, but I don't speak English very fluently, and sometimes mess up with English grammars. Your English is relatively simple, comparing to some other travelers. I appreciate your attitude to speak slowly. You can use more simple words.

I 100% agree with you, it is far better to slow down and speak clearly than to rush through what you're saying and lose the attention of the person you are speaking to. My best tip to anyone that speaks a language with a foreign accent is to slow down so you could be understood by the person you are speaking to. Thanks for posting your video

Thank God I learn Chinese since Kindergarten, that is why I also want to communicate to people by using their languages so I can made less barrier to my dream of travelling to every country in the world, I'm still learning btw ( I speak fluent Indonesian, my mother toungue and English, also 60% of Chinese, and a bit of Malay.

Honestly something was always off with your videos and now I realized and it-s the incredibly low talking speed. I think for anyone speaking a somewhat decent English it-s quite painful to listen to. My first language isn-t even English and still a faster talking speed is so much more comfortable to listen to

I understand the slow speaking thing, but what I don't understand is why you keep skipping in all of your videos. and sometimes you'll be sitting in a chair and suddenly you're in Bhutan. and then back in the chair again! --

Yes, you are right to speak slowly, I immediately found myself well watching your videos, although I discreetly understand English even if it is not my first language

haha you caught me! I was watching this on 1. 5x speed when you said why you spoke slowly. That's not an issue tho. I speak slowly myself.

Thank you for explaining your slow talking haha I was wondering if you just talked that way in videos but it totally makes sense!
