I watched this video about a year ago, and it ended up being the basis for my Luang Prabang stay in Laos. The last city I visited. Everything was so supurb! I loved the Phounsab Guest House, Saffron coffee, and all! I also discovered a sweet little cafe across the street where the staff was as memorable as the food. I'm going back next year, and thank you Mark for such wonderful suggestions! I even unwittingly had congee at the same sidewalk stand, and I couldn't get enough! Ahan saeb rai!

Please stop taking videos of you stuffing your mouth. I love your videos and watch all of them all the way. Even bought some merch. But I have to turn the screen away and pull my earbuds everytime. I dont see the benefit in showing you with a giant banana swelling your cheeks out and then you talk with your mouth full. I love your videos and your little family, including your dad in that Kenyan video. Always amazing, keep up the good work.

Hey! Mark, I'll need some dry pepper and Siracha hot sauce with the Congee. Try the one with the pig's feets. it great too. I've been there few years ago and foods is the best thing everywhere in Lao and Thailand. However, I found Thai foods are much more appetizing. Planning to come back this December 2019 to Loas and Thailand. Missed the foods mostly.

Is it just me or Mark's voice is a lil' bit different in this video? Kinda had a lower tone than in his other video.
Anyway, thx for sharing your experiences in this video Mark. I never heard of Luang Prabang before, but I really enjoyed watching this video.

These vids are VERY well produced. great shots, informative, entertaining. Good editing, good tempo, great close-ups. My only possible suggestion to make them better would be to engage more local people to suggest local side trips or trendy spots. Well done!
