I booked this Vientiane apartment on Airbnb- I was very excited to visit Ghana in West Africa! During out stay, it was me, my wife, and our baby son, we rented a house on Airbnb. It was a very nice place to stay, offered us plenty of room and it was in a very nice neighborhood near the coast in Accra. There are many different options of accommodation when you visit or when you are living in Accra. So I hope this gives you a quick glimpse into a type of living in a wealthier neighborhood in Accra, Ghana. Something I really loved was being able to walk out the gate, and go shopping at small family run shops, and buy fruit and vegetables. The fruit in Ghana is excellent!

The -compound- is surrounded by dead bolted walled gates topped by barbed wire. It is clearly a very unsafe place! I love your videos and how you are always positive - but the camera tells the real story - zooming in on the outdoor walled compound locks and barb wire while pleasantly talking about how everyone is just SO FRIENDLY --

This is the true nature of my african people. welcoming and hospitable to foreigners of good moral standing. When we Africans travel you get the true nature of them. asians caucasians etc. racism and just descrimatory treatment. Look how comfortable these asians are amongst us. woh! Take care Ghana.

What about the hygiene condition in rented house? I am planning a trip from India to Africa and was initially sure about hotels. But this rented home is super cheap and quite good. Just wanted to know about cleaning and hygiene conditions. Anyone from Africa, help me: )

Hey, Mark u should buy some Johnson's ALOE VERA lotion in the green squeeze bottle. That, SO protects u from mosquitoes and if u bring a few large candles, CITRONELLA are highly effective when you're outside. hope this helps u when u travel. --
