Backpacking The Twin Valley Trail - Hiking Near Dayton Ohio in 4K KimP: My husband and I have been following you all for several years now. I was so excited to see this video pop up! I live about 1 mile from the Chamberlain Rd. trailhead and run/hike up there 4-5 times a week typically. So, it was super exciting to see your take and descriptions of the area, and knowing/following along every step of the way. We kayak Twincreek pretty much weekly throughout the spring/summer (depending on water flow/conditions. And you should see Bob Siebenthaler Natural Area in the early spring when the trillium flowers are blooming (early morning) - there are so many in that area, it feels like it is alive! I run/hike the Germantown trails often too. And Captain 9's Pizza - so glad you got to enjoy a local favorite! I wish I had seen you guys on the trail - that would have been so exciting! (also so curious about the dates you guys did this trail, to see if I was there on the same day)
Love the plant identification on all your videos - I have learned a lot that way. Love you guys, love your videos! Kim

I just barely started, and I'm excited. Sounds like you're doing on a larger scale what I do several days a week locally here in Santa Clarita. I am lucky to have lots of real dirt trails within a 10 mile radius. Sidenote- Once upon a time I was critical in a comment about your introduction music. I believe I called it a little corny. I take that back because now it just makes me smile, that is the kind of joy you guys bring to me on your group hike interaction videos. You have wonderful interactions on top of the great video, hikes, camp spots, botany. Outstanding

Thanks for your video. I am new to your site. I have been hiking the Twin Valley Trail and multiple others in Southwestern and Southeastern Ohio for years now, though at age 75, my hiking days are somewhat diminished. Still hiking vicariously through your videos brings forth memories. What I especially like are the descriptions of the flora, many of which I passed but did not have the knowledge you have given me. Who knows if I passed that poison ivy many times and never realized what it was. Thanks again.

I live in Philadelphia now, but I am from Cincinnati and lived in Columbus for nearly 10 years. I'm all too familiar with these Ohio hikes! If you're ever hiking east along the PA or NY Appalachian mountains, Poconos, Catskills, etc, hit me up! I'd love to hike along with you or show you a hike or two. Also, I'm a freelance motion designer so if you ever want upgrades to your intro animations, let me know; )

25 minutes into the video so far. It's so wholesome and I'm really impressed with all the botanical knowledge.
There is an amazing trail where I am from that stretches over approximately 1000kms. I've stopped at a couple of spots along the way but I would love to hike the full length of it some day. It's called the Bibbulmun track and it's located in Western Australia.

I must admit, I am a little jealous of you guys. Not so much me now but me 20yrs ago. I have been hiking\backpacking since I was about 16, I could never get my friends to do this with me. I don't mind being a lone wolf but thinking back to when I was younger, I wish I had what you guys have going for you. Great video as always and keep it up fellas.

Wow, you showed there is more out there than just a trail and scenery. Birds, bees, flora and fauna, different kinds of mushrooms and so many varieties of trees. Even a frog and a few bugs. It was so enjoyable to watch. and the commentary was superb too. Great video. Can't wait till your next adventure.

Getting some hater comments- you-ve made it! Any how, thanks for a great video for some nice relaxing time after work tonight. I found it to be actually very surprisingly interesting for it being an easier to get to urban trail. I-m going to try to strive for more balance-. and more hiking!
