Exploring the streets of Stone Town, ZANZIBAR! HeckNoGMOs: I'm still catching up on your blogs while staying current with year two. Ummm. I watched this show about how 85% of the American population has parasites due to meat and sushi and travel. Almost 100% of frequent travelers especially 3rd world countries have them. they went into the street food and vendors yada yada yada. Next time you guys are home you should do a cleanse. But make sure on the third or fourth day you guys don't have major plans. if you have parasites when they are dying they put off a toxin that makes you feel like you have the flu. I thought of you guys when I was watching it. People have like 5ft worms and have no clue.

This is such an amazing episode! Love it and made me hungry all at the same time! I was thinking, what if Kara make another YT page and title it 'the girl who ate all over the world' Not in offensive way but home girl is not afraid to eat anything (and so as Nate but when Kara had stomach flu/food poisoning and came back like a champ takes the cake. Not to mention Nate as a champ with the advantures as well! You guys are amazing!

Great video. My mouth was literally watering when yall got dessert! Oh. My. Goodness! I didn't notice the spot in the camera lens until you mentioned it. Do you think it could be some humidity/condensation? I had the exact same thing happen to a small point and shoot camera when I went on a cruise last year. Just a thought. It cleared up once we got back to Tennessee (you know humidity capital of the south)

very facile. The 'slave chambers' were NEVER used for holding of slaves - they were built long after the ending of the slave trade in Zanzibar. Its a story to get money from the tourists. This is not to say that slavery and slave trading did not exist in Zanzibar as in many other parts of Africa. Much of the demand for slaves came from sugar plantations on Mauritius and Reunion Islands.

While it is obviously too late to mater at this point, if you ever get a spot like that again, it is probably just some dust or something on the sensor or lens. Very common when swapping lenses. Newer cameras use a vibration to try to clean themselves, but before that those spots were far more common to run into and have to clean manually.

The sea scenery was lovely, but you guys sure are healthy. You eat everything, fish, nuts, squid, octopus, bananas, you guys are lucky to have like no food allergies, and you drinks loads of caffeine with no problems.
There are also so much stuff around places, mosquitos with disease, spiders, humidity, mould.

That place looks fantastic! And the Diving comp and food looked a great way to end a days wandering! How much was the Zanzibar pizza unlike Nate not to tell your viewers the $ price of what you're munching on? Can't wait for more meandering movies of Old Stone Town! -

No need to apologize Kara for not liking accommodations. We've all stayed in places where we think is questionable. Nate I loved the -interesting- comment when you tried the octopus. Not usually a good statement when trying food. Made me LOL!

Sorry. but using Kara as the standard bearer of good food is very flawed. she is squeamish about octopus. she needs to go beyond pizza. she loves chapati because it is the closest to pizza. unimpressed with the mediocrity.
