Johannesburg to Zanzibar, Tanzania - South African Airways - Shongololo Lounge farfallabianco1: how is it the most dangerous airport in the world and there is no factual evidence or stats the reiterate your statement? I just want to know? because I will be traveling there soon and as an avid traveler and I'm always cautious of anywhere I go regardless of statuses of all the countries from US/UK/SWE/ right to OZ. the only problematic intake from your video is that the airport lacked some sort of systematic procedures with the visas (looked cluttered) and services. is this perhaps your understanding of dangerous? did you encounter something? Your statement is quite vague

This is from 2 years ago, but I recently discovered you and am working my way through from the beginning. I think all the luxury stuff gets boring to watch. It's all basically the same. It's the most interesting when you have to rough it. But I am really enjoying touring the world vicariously. (That said, $40 IS probably too much if you don't even have your own bathroom) But I get it, comfort is good and if you can stay at a nice place for free, it's silly to pay to rough it.

That aircraft is a Cessna (American) Caravan. One of the most widely produced and used aircraft in the world. I have flown it and taught pilots from around the world how to fly it! The engine is one of the most perfectly produced and engineered engines of all time. You can feel quiet confident if you ever fly in it again. Now I can't speak to the maintenance or quality of the pilots. -hahaha! your comment about looking like a boat was one of your best ever!

-Kara and Nate question for you after watching so many blog, how come you like to book a hotel last minute? Was it cheaper to book last minute? We are planning a trip to Europe in the October, just wonder should I book the hotel or airbnb now or wait until it is closer?

Maybe you have outgrown cheap travel. You sound more 5 star these days. You must be honest and agree that you like a champagne lifestyle, but you hardly have beer money: ) $40 a night is for nothing by international standards. At least the coffee might be good,

I wouldve recommended camping or doing some sort of safari! I went to Africa and did a safari in Tanzania. It was AMAZING! We thought that since America had beaches everywhere the safari would be the best experience! Hopefully you all do a safari one day!

TAUSI PALACE HOTEL in Zanzibar city. I'm guessing you may have found a place by now but Check this place out, 5 minutes to the market area and amazing decor for a fairly reasonable price. Hope this helps. Great reviews with free wifi and a/c.

That is not the oldest tv-s ever. I think I have seen in one or more vlogs the first ones. That was an old 5/4 tv in every 5th row down from the ceiling. First time I saw those was USair flight from CLT-SFO in the mid 90s. Lol!

Was in Zanzibar 2 weeks ago! Definitely have a meal at Emerson Spice in Stone Town -either lunch in the Secret Garden or dinner on the roof. Also Zanzibar Coffee House is just a block or so down.

So, the -open air airport- is a concept in Zanzibar? Very -tarp- chic. Hahaha. Here's to hoping you can book a better value tomorrow when you find a cafe with coffee and decent wi fi. -
