London to ICELAND - BLUE LAGOON! Julie: When I went to Iceland with a friend, we went during the Summer Solstice, so we had 23 hours of daylight! Sadly, we missed a U2 concert by 2 days, but it was very cool when we went to the Blue Lagoon, as it started to snow, while we were relaxing in the warm springs! We didn't want to leave the warm water! On the way from the airport, our BnB host took us to look at traditional Icelandic houses. Struck me as quite similar to archeological sites I have seen in Denmark, Sweden and Scotland.

I have to be honest, I never even considered going into an airport lounge. I always thought they were bars with a little work space area. I had no idea they could be so awesome. I'll will work on getting into them in the future. Kara and Nate have shown me the way!

I went to the blue lagoon 3 weeks ago and it was amazing. When I went it was -5 degrees outside and we went at 7: 30 in the morning and it was amazing as the sun rose over the mountains with all the snow on it it was so pretty

Yes, reserving your time at Blue Lagoons wheels or months in advance in the summer is a must. I flew there from Bergen after finishing a week in Norway on a whim. Thought I could buy a ticket but sold out for 3 days

One of the reasons that things cost more in Iceland is because the things are shipped from China to the us, and then to Iceland! I learned this from a friends of mine who is an exchange student from Iceland!

You need to road trip in a van to Wyoming during the summer. Hot springs in Seritoga, WY. Has several springs that are super clean, HOT pools with different temperatures! Something to look into.

I-ve been to some of the same places you guys were at, it was making me so nostalgic! The blue lagoon is awesome, however there-s so many cool hot springs that are less expensive and crowded.

Recommend book the earliest time slot for the Blue Lagoon. Arrive early when the steam is rising from the lagoon into the cold morning air and there are only a few other tourists around

Oh Iceland is so beautifull been there 6 years ago. Did the golden circle, saw geisers and 24/7 daylight. So weird to experience that and I saw whales. And not to forget the blue lagoon

We went to Iceland around the same time y'all did just two weeks earlier. It is crazy watching this because i was in the exact places y'all went and did the same things!
