I don't do -cute- I mean I really don't like cute, it makes me growl but in spite of ALL that cuteness I enjoyed your video. The province you were in has some of the most beautiful mountains in Cuba. I remember going there to visit my uncle who lived in the mountains in a -bohio- he made and also to visit another uncle who was doing hard labor in the fields for saying bad things about the government. There is also a port in Pinar del Rio which is infamous or famous depends on perspectives, the Port of Mariel in Mariel Bay.

The government takes the tobacco and separates it, blends it and rolls it to account for the different cigar brands. The farm will only blend what they have so the flavor profile is limited. Only buy cigars from a Casa Del Habano! Factory workers do get cigars and it is possible to buy a box of legitimate cigars from them. but everything else is a fake. Farm cigars are very tasty and if you are not into 'labels' you certainly can find some very enjoyable farm products. DO NOT buy cigars from people on the streets!

Money exchange issues completely avoidable. Last time I want to Havana, brought Euro exchanged it all and kept it in safe at my air BnB took it out as needed. Those little piggies we-re so cute. Easy way to tell who is telling truth on cigars. If your at a la Casa Del Habanos, your in the right place to buy legit cigars.

I'm Cuban and I can honestly recommend to always get yourself a guide; especially if you are a tourist and do not speak the language. countries that are so poor like Cuba have people that need to make a living and they, unfortunately, do so by scamming naive tourists. just be advised and be careful!

The best cigars are from the farmers, those hustlers in Habana are superstar hustlers. Believe me the quality is great from the farmers, I've been twice and have had both. But y'all are cool AF! Love the adventurous attitudes! Happy travels!
