Hiking 40 Miles Alone on the Goat Rocks Loop

Spent three days backpacking 40 miles in Goat Rocks Wilderness in Washington Todd: Love the videos Kraig! Yesterday I did the Enchantments Trail as a day hike after watching that video. I am planning to do this Goat Rocks loop this weekend. Any reason you chose to do it counter clockwise? I am thinking of going clockwise. Also, any reason you didn't take the Nannie Ridge Trail over to the PCT instead of the longer route on the Walupt Lake Trail?

Hey Kraig, I have a question. If you have a girlfriend or not or if you did was your solo life a challenge at all? I want to do these things but my gf says its selfish of me to leave her without contact at days at a time? What would your advice be?

It makes me laugh to think about how after every time he walks past the camera. He has to walk back to get the camera and edit that part out lol. Wonder how many extra miles and time that adds

Hi, Kraig Adams, I'm a fan of yours, I really like Hiking, but I think this video lacks the music that you add to the video very well. Thank you, good luck to you; )

I grew up in Klickitat, Washington and I believe that is where the river starts so very interested in your video because you're doing something I never had the chance too.

That you've used hardly any music is great, the natural sounscape gives me a better sense of 'being there'. My top favourite of your projects so far, fantastic.

Has to be fake, no one can hike that far and pull a pop-tart out of their bag that is not just a pouch of crumbs. jk, awesome video, love the goat rocks.

Is there a reason you don't use trekking poles? Just curious. I get nervous for you as you scale some of these environments without them lol.

Amazing video and very inspiring! 12 miles in 4 hours only if someone helicopters me in. But I am getting there - started hiking later in life.
