beautiful hike, stunning scenery. what a strange town! it certainly looks authentic. from researching it online, it seems the town decided to go with the bavarian theme in order to increase tourism.

I advise caution with trail running. It's definitely harder on the body and increases the chances of injury. Last time I tried I injured my knee and it took about 12 months to fully heal.

When I saw that sign at the Bavarian Lodge saying Willkommen I was like why's that so special when it hit me that this is not in fact in the Alps. :D
