Unfortunately many people come to these places totally unprepared for what this is; wilderness. Thin clothing, unsuitable shoes, no torch-lights, no food, small children, no experience with hiking in mountains. If you have little or no experience with mountain hikes you should consider easier routes. Our rescue-services are fantastic but please come prepared. The weather may change from 20C to 0 and hurricane-winds in a very short time. Snowfall in summer is not uncommon in Norways mountains. If you are unsure if you are up for it, you most likely are not. Consider a guide, preferably a local one.

Back in Germany I thought Id still hear waterfalls: D Norway and Scotland were the most beautiful places Ive been. yetNext year I travel to Georgia (Kaukasus. Im sure you answer the following question every day: Do you film all the videos yourself? Greetings from Germany: )

Im going next year, cant wait. I read up on how to get on to the hanging rock(cant remember the name) and it sounds alot scarier than i expected, a 30cm ledge holding onto a ring to stop you falling all the way down And just up to the left of this place your at looks like pulpit, or is it just flat top?

This is absolutely amazing. I have wanted to go to Trolltunga for a while now. I am finally in Europe and have a week to backpack. What is the best way to go about getting to Trolltunga (cities to fly into/etc. Any help at making this dream come true would be truly appreciated.

Hi, I would like to the hike this June. I will take my 2 labradors with me to Norway. Is it possible to do the hike with dogs? Obviously they would be on their leash as we get close to the top. Has anybody done it? Thanks

It would be great if you can go in a better weather, good luckIt is worth the effort, and it is not hard except for the initial steep climb (which is unpleasant also at the end, when you have to descend)

Did it a month ago while roadtriping in Norway. The first hour of the hike with the rock steps in the forest is a killer, but the view at the end is just amazing. One of the most beautiful thing i've ever seen.

3-4 hours drive from Bergen. You have to get to Tyssedal, they have the info at the visitor center, or you can continue to Skjeggedal (another 7 km) where the trailhead is.

Beautiful hike and mountain scares the lake at 1: 30 is beautiful. At 2: 08 the drop off is great, like all the fog. 2: 56 what a dangerous feat. Nice. Great video, thanks: )
