Singapore Airlines Boeing 777-300 Business Class: FLYING BACK IN TIME!

That could be perceived as a flaw.
The new regional business class launched in 2018 has the same seat width, much better design and aesthetics and better screen resolution. Also, it has a fully lie flat bed. However, since it has a cocoon shape, it is from my personal experience flying on both aircrafts multiple times, that passengers who have broader shoulders would prefer the older business class since the boundary on the seat goes vertically upwards, as opposed to the new business class where it cocoons and may restrict shoulder movement for more burly or buff passengers (like myself.
Both products are absolutely fantastic and service is unparalleled on Singapore Airlines. No doubt there. Just wanted to share some insight for future or aspiring passengers!

We flew the Singapore airlines 777-200 last
Month, Melbourne to Singapore. Same dated business class product- but the service was fantastic- shame that plane doesnt have a first class product. 3 years ago we flew Singapore airlines A380 suites Sydney to Singapore on our way to the Maldives (which only flys 777-200 and only again with business class. Suites class was the most amazing experience. My husbands TV wasnt working and they accidentally served me a cold meal so to make up for it gave us a $200 SGD credit to use on board! We used to to purchase some fancy duty free alcohol! I would fly Singapore airlines any day!

I flew with them from London Heathrow to Jakarta via Singapore back in 1984. The flight to Singapore was on a B747 Big Top. Can't remember much about it now, but I really enjoyed the whole 14 or so hours. No Flat Bed Seats in those days, but still very comfortable, excellent Cabin Crew that kept me well supplied in booze, and the food was great. Very knackered when arriving in Jakarta as it was on a short hour or so stop in Singapore, and a late evening flight from LHR.

Singapore Airlines is replacing all their 777-200, 777-200ER, 777-300 and A330's with A350-900's. They already have 28 in service with a further 32 coming so it won't be long and all these older aircraft will be gone. One A350-900 is now in the paint shop, another is in final testing and a further four are already on the final assembly line.

A friend of mine said visiting Singapore is amazing, and that their airline is the top-best airline he's ever flown in the world. He travels a LOT for his job and has used many airlines, and said NONE have compared to Singapore Air. The planes are always nice, the flight crew amazing, and the lounges are almost always opulent and comfortable.

Another nice video Noel, really well put together. We flew an old A330 to Hanoi and back last year with SQ. My seat broke! They were very nice about it though and gave me a spending voucher. This year we fly SQ to Bali on the new B787 in the 1-2-1 configuration. Happy flying!

In the last video for Mumbai all he could see was Mumbai slums out of the window from the aircraft and kept on mentioning it. while walking around the T2 Mumbai, he didn't have a single word of appreciation for the beauty that is the new terminal! Way to be racists and snob.

used to always fly on 777-300 from singapore to shanghai in both economy and business
had to say tho, the seat, compared to the newer aircraft is terrible. there isn't even touch screen in business class, and there is only 1 main screen.

I actually have used one when I flew over to America with Qantas on the 747 I actually use the in-flight phone with my debit card and I called my mum and dad from the plane And that was in 2011

Why didn't you fly the A380 from Mumbai to Singapore, which is just an hour apart from this B777 flight's departure. There is a A350 from Mumbai to Singapore in the morning time too.

I used a sky phone in the late 1990s - probably 1999 - on an internal US flight (called the UK) OUCH! Lol. They don't seem to do sky phones anymore I guess because of on board wifi-
