Reminds me of a friend who many moons ago bought a copy of Microsoft Flight Simulator. He decided to fly a 747 from Heathrow to JFK. After an hour he realised it was in real time, so switched the autopilot on, went into town to do some shopping, had a coffee and got back in time to land at JFK.

I used to love to fly, but this is tooooo long a flight in a packed coach. Imagine 17hrs in the middle seat!
The airline is greedy af for cramming in so many rows. This must also have been one heavy aircraft at take off? Wonder how many crew members on board total?

Imagine you actually get a full 8 hours sleep. You wake up and look at the map. You still have almost 10 hours of flight left! Yikes. And I thought my 12+ hour flight from TX to Japan was long. cheers mate and cheers to FULL FLIGHT

I live in Sydney and sometimes see or hear this flight going over either going to NZ or Qatar now I've seen it from inside the aircraft, for some reason I could not see my house

I could never do that long trip on economy even if I wanted to. Id have to sleep through out most of the flight, especially as I wouldnt be able to have a smoke.

My flight took 21 hours when I was going to to Dubai, Mumbai Pune in a Car, Gadarwara, and Indore on train and Banglore that took 21 hours. Super long right.

The inside of the Qatar Airways 777 reminds me a lot of the inside of Lothian buses up in Edinburgh. Plenty of maroon/burgundy colour across the interior.
