71 HOURS IN ECONOMY! Flying on the World's Longest Flights Back to Back! SauronsEye: A VB (Victoria Bitter) in Western Australia, should have been the local brews of Emu or Swan lager while having a pub feed.
As for your missing stuff. Should have gotten onto security and they could have checked CCTV and tracked the person who took it.
I was at Sydney domestic many years ago. Flights had been delayed for 10s of hours. A young fellow spent his time in the bar drinking. His flight was called and he got in the boarding line and felt an older gentleman had pushed in front of him. Young fellow mouthed off a bit. The older fellow just smiled at him. Young fellow, out of no where, punched the older fellow, knocking him to the ground. Blood came from a head wound due to the punch. Security was on the scene very very quickly before any one called them.
I expect security was so quick on the scene because they saw the older gentleman hit the deck on CCTV.
I remember the first security guy's face when he arrived on the scene. His look of abject disappointment in what he saw. I expect, due to knowing the young fellow was now in a world of pain due to his fleeting moment of anger and disappointed if the knowledge that if the incident got out to the media, the reputational damage it would bring to the Airport.
Or the requirement to write a very long report on why they weren't on the scene earlier to prevent the incident and how systems could be improved to avoid such embarrassments in the future.
So security is very proactive and invested in their job at the Airport.
I could imagine the head line if a newspaper had reported it, Wild weather causing chaos and violence at Sydney Airport

I just found you the other day and am looking back at this video. I just love the information you provide that answers all the questions I would have on these different flights. Am retired and beginning to plan many trips with my husband and these are just wonderful to watch while also giving us idea plans. Really long trips like boston, Massachusetts to Figi, we went business class though because our old bodies don't handle not being able to stretch once in a while. Looking at this, economy class in the first leg of your flight didn't appear bad at all. Thank you for these videos!

Wow Im enjoying the travel videos its given me the chance and experience to see the world which I haven't done much and not been away for twelve years. I visited New Zealand in 1979 when I was 16 with my family the flight was long about thirty hours including four stops. How I wished I could have had the courage to do this in the past. Its amazing how you do this. Many thanks.

Great video, annoyingly LOUD music! It is supposed to be in the background, and you are out front and it is the opposite. You are drowned out. Try turning it down a bit. Looked really fun though. Please look out for yourself on these long flights. do leg exercises to protect yourself from clots.

World's longest possible flight was Auckland to London onboard Air NZ, prior to that was the Kangaroo Leg between London and Sydney Australia. Yanks claim it's Newark to Singapore which is thousands of kilometres less than the 2 afore mentioned flights, but anyway you can't tell them

OK mate; I forgive you. Now I understand why your sound is crook. I am really sorry to hear that some MAGGOT stole your GoPro and associated equipment. That is a bummer. I hope they had CCTV on the aircraft, and I hope they get that bastard. Safe Travels!

Almost four years later, am I the only one who caught the cheeky Adam Hills cameo at 05: 12 as you boarded that first flight to Perth? He even tweeted about that flight at the time!
EDIT: having scanned the many comments, Im not the only one who noticed!

Hi, Noel! Great video, thanks! Amazing trip, you are just a hero But there is a mistake in your titles. From London to Perth the distance is 15677 kilometers, not miles: ) Thanks again for the interesting video of your travels, I enjoy watching them

Omg this sounds like an utter nightmare to me. I hate flying, it's so uncomfortable (I can't afford business or first class. I can do 5 hours continuously as a max but after that I'd need to have a stop over.
How do you combat DVT?

I had a long flight, which was from Munich to Chicago, which was 8 hours. London Heathrow to Munich was 1 hour. The 8 hour flight felt like it was night time, when it was from 1 pm to 6 pm. Long and night feel, but in reality, it's day.

I live in Glasgow Scotland and if I was gonna fly to Australia I would never take a direct flight. Id fly via either Dubai or Doha which you can fly directly to from Edinburgh. I could never stay on a plane that long especially in economy

Flew from UK to North Carolina then transferred onto another plane from NC to LA total time 17 hours, I was dead and buried my time in LA first day i had to sleep all day as bad jet lag and headache as if i had a hangover, never again lol

So I am hoping you are not sick and yes i know I onow if i wasn\t such a tight ass I would know why there is no video this week. yet. So I was trolling through other videos I havent watched and is that Adam Hills at the 5: 03 mark?

My daughter just did perth->Rome and london->Perth direct flights on the Dreamliner and said it was pretty good. Biggest plus was cutting out the multiple hours wait in eg Dubai which is a pretty rubbish airport now.

Noel, if you could make the narration louder and the blaring background music less so, that would be brilliant! I could barely hear you, but I did see your lips moving, when the music was BLARING.

in the take off from Heathrow portion of the video, I spot the stranded Concorde on the tarmac! I have a good picture out of it on my BA 787 window when I was taking off in late Sept. 2019

Had to come back to make this comment because i have to give credit where its due. Recently did 14 hours in EK Economy and it was torture. I cannot fathom how you managed this Noel.

I love the music in this video. Ive watched it many times. Does anyone know what the piece of music is as he departs Auckland to Doha? Shazam and other apps dont recognise it. TIA.
