Good video, lightweight tarps are great, but I also have a heavier one with a silvered side, when the sun is strong it makes a difference being under it, the lightweight don't offer as much UV or heat protection. Another tip for extreme hot weather, wear Army boots, if there is a fire and you need to leg it through burnt ground, they will protect your feet, a wet shemaggh can help filer smoke, both can be life savers. Fire tends to burn quicker uphill too!

I ve got to say I much prefer these styles of bushcraft camps than the modern concept of glamping which negates the very concept of going camping, might as well stay in a hotel in that case tbh

Everything in tip 1 applies to all hammock setups as well. Ridgelines, tie downs. Sleeping back, pillow. Get it all setup before putting it in your bag
