Hey Mike instead of bringing salt I would suggest if you can find it in your country A salt and spice mix called Herbomore Herbomir they're two kinds there's urban mere regular mix which has got dried herbs and salt and I think pepper mixed together and the other one is called Trokemaire which is the same mix plus has red chili flakes in it. They're great for seasoning foods using the table salt And it makes your salt go further you don't have to use as much Because you get the other spices added flavor to whatever you're cooking whether it's meat or vegetables. That way you don't have to carry as many spices you could add Ginger instead or dried garlic Or I need powder garlic powder that kind of stuff instead of just you know the chili flakes and black pepper and whatever spices you have besides your salt And the great thing about it it's sea salt. so you're getting more minerals and nutrients than just Plain old Potassium sodium chloride The potassium chloride Magnesium chloride other chlorides in it which add great flavor to whatever you're cooking. so the main one is called Herba Mare and the spicy one is called Trokemaire it's not too spicy but it does get a little bit of zest to it. one of the other things you could carry with you is like dried citrus rind like lemon or lime or orange or mixture of all three. it wasn't your vials. and it's easy to make your own citrus rinds you get yourself a microplanar And you hold the citrus in your one hand and you use the microplanar on top of the citrus So you can see exactly where you're taking the rind from On your citrus. you take it You spread it out on a piece of wax paper And let it dry or put it in dehumidifier or whatever they call them dehydration units and let those sit for like 20 minutes or an hour to get really dry pulls out all the moisture so that you can then mix them and match them however you want to add to your food and then you put in your vials and bring that with you so that's what I would suggest is forget the other vials to keep your tropical bears urban mayor at one file your black pepper your garlic and onion powder mixed And then your citrus rines in another that'll be all four vials with better ingredients for you to use when you're cooking and a camp situation.

Hey Mike it's interesting to see that the double half edge or the diamond edge that you to we call a double half hitch in the US Boy Scouts please that's how I learned it two wraps around the main line underneath where you're going like you did and then one loop back above which causes the tension which you can use like a ratchet system to tighten or loosen the cord. I'm just interesting to find that you call it a diamond hitch or we call it a double half hitch.

I wonder how Cave Men & Women set up their resting places, where they slept at night
I always think that they must have had lush beds, with piles of animal fur and so on, to sink into after a days hunting, then when the sun goes down and the fires embers glow, they drift off into a wonderful sleep.

To ensure you're never caught short again cutlery wise, you can buy an opinel picnic set which has a spoon and fork that stick in the end of an opinel knife. Full disclosure I have no idea which opinel it is compatible with

As with a lot of videos, you come for the content, and stay because of the personality. Robbie Cummigs's Canal Boat Diaries is just like this too. With both, it feels like relaxing with a good friend.

I've been looking for those small roller tarp clamps and have not had any luck on finding any or them. Do you remember where you bought them from or the name under what they may be marketed under

I would like if you made your woodland cabin 4 season. Plexy 3 pane window, insulate, fold up desk and bunk. To keep your bed from rolling, split the log.

I'd tie a finger loop by the roller clips. 1 it makes it easier to pull & tighten & 2 will stop the cord from slipping out of the clip. Just an idea.

4: 22 you are destroying your axe, slowly but destroy, and you know that. Your axe is way to small for this. Splitting axe mule can do this.
