Hospital and IV Antibiotics - Live Stream

video description

Rating: 4.0; Vote: 1
After recently getting pretty bad food poisoning, I went back and forth to hospital and it was eventually found that I had a pretty bad strain of E. Coli. I'm on a 2 week course of IV antibiotics, but had a PICC line installed in my body which means I can self-administer the antibiotics at home and not have to stay in hospital. Thought I would do a live stream as no main video this week! There's about 15 or 1010 to 15 years ago in the US all of the Midwest and West Coast and parts of the East Coast we had a wisteria outbreak now wisteria is a semi subtropical disease that is passed by fecal matter on the ground where lettuce and food like that has grown tomatoes peppers anything that's not cooked Can cause you wisteria I don't know if it's a parasite or single celled organism bacterium or something like that but whatever it was a lot of people got it a lot of people got hospitalized and it all came down to undocumented farm workers from South of the Mexican border in from Central America and South America whose hygiene was not good and were going to the bathroom in the field urinating and defecating in the fields Where that was getting on the food stuff lettuce peppers tomatoes carrots et cetera and a lot of people got sick and they tried to blame it on the farmers and it's not the farmers fault they got to have people to pick the foods and take care of the crop The problem is is not having people who are doing the picking register and they have to register when they cross the border so we know where they're at and if there is a disease linked back to them we can find them and cure them hopefully I know patient zero because that was the biggest problem is they didn't know who or what the patient's hero was or what vector was coming through like why is why is others protest getting infected why is you know lettuce in Wisconsin being affected why are whatever in Georgia being peaches of Georgia being affected why are carrots in California being fitted why are potatoes in Idaho being affected they didn't know I don't know what all was infected but there was a lot of infected from various different parts of the country in the foods kept coming back from different states mostly California some from Texas and others were from the Midwest Like Illinois Indiana IA farm country area it wasn't affecting corn and grains with infecting weed it wasn't affecting barley rye that kind of stuff it was the green produce technically you know like tomatoes pepper and onions carrots either was grown in the ground or grew out of the ground and it was handled by people wheat and corn really aren't handled by people too much the corn is sometimes it depends but mostly nowadays they use automatic shuckers so they were baffled for a while they were baffled for about six months then the stuff started dying down because the farmhands had left for the end of the season and like wait a minute they linked two or two together the farm hands are gone the pickers from down South And people are getting sick anymore there's still people who are sick but nobody's getting sick anymore there's a big fiasco now there's regulations on who can be used to pick foods which makes sense I mean I don't blame the people because they need the job and stuff like that but it's the hygiene and the other areas that come from aren't always the best hygiene I mean it's not their fault that it's not their fault that they live in an area where poverty is ripe and they can't afford better health care Better hygiene and better sanitary conditions that's more the problem of their government than anything else.

Yeah monk you probably gonna gluten allergy stop eating wheat get tested for weed allergies and definitely cut back on the gluten stuff switch to rice barley rye oatmeal they have gluten in them too but it's a different kind of glue there's not a wheat gluten It could be just your body going i've had way too much feet my whole lifetime to eat something else I thought you switch it up Don't use wheat flour use corn flour or rice flour old flour old flower was really good Coin floor can be problematic because it's like more like cornstarch it's kind of gluey and you don't want that because that's what the week starts is very gluey that's what old bread together is the gluten if you're going to have wheat bread get naturally risen we weed that rises from farm or active yeast not the additives or even sourdough bread that's a great way to keep your yeast going just keep a little bit of that in a warm place and look at these going and it makes great bread with sourdough bread used to do that all the time in San Francisco during the mining 1849 and 1899 what was 18 gang 49 or 1849 they actually used to go to bed with the stuff in in their on their person in a small container just to keep it warm so it wouldn't freeze and die it's just to keep the sourdough bread going The amazing stuff I actually had cerrodo bread made from sourdough starter that had been kept going in their family for over 100 years they go 110 years who's back in the 1990s so it was started up in 1880 it was amazing And my sister was able to get some she passed it around to people in our families that they could actually keep it going too I don't know if anybody did but I know a lot of people may break out bread out of it and it was so most amazing sourdough bread i've ever had yeast it's been alive that long is amazing It's very good for your body too. I remember where they came from a brewery in Ireland and it was brought over here to the US and used in the brewery and then it was give it up for his barm BARM for breaking in the mid 1800s or early 1900s so it would actually could even be older than what everybody thought it was too

Mike the heat is coming because here in Massachusetts and Boston we have a heat wave alert it's gonna be 90 plus for the next four to five days 95 on Saturday and maybe 100 on Saturday or Sunday definitely in today's only Tuesday it hit 90 today and I'm lucky I've got EC but the heat is coming trust me and they're saying this is going to be the hottest year in on record since last year and last year had something like a hundred and something days over like 90 around the world so it's going to be even hotter this year so be careful keep your kids cool through plenty of water but drink hydrating water like Gatorade or you can make a drink is called ton is yogurt two tablespoons of yogurt a pinch of salt in a tall glass with some little bit of ice crech dice stir it up drink it It hydrates the body very well because what it's got it's got a little protein it's got a little salt you want to use sea salt not we'll show it in chloride Solve see solved is better for you because it's got more different kinds of minerals and then it's got water so what else could you need what's great about the yogurt is to give you little proteins little fat a little bit of broken down sugars from the lactic acid lactic bacteria and that helps your body a lot of ways It's one of the best rehydrating drinks I've ever had and it's a family recipe going back centuries if not longer. it's also good if you ever have a fever you need to cool down oh another thin yogurt it's good for us if you ever get a beast in put like a teaspoon of the yogurt on the beast and and just let it dry about two hours let it dry what it does it neutralizes the poison and it cools the area it cools the sting and it actually helps out the the barb so you don't have to use tweezers and try and pull it out and squeeze it all the venom back into your body it pulls the venom out and it pulls the stinger out So it's really helpful

some of the cheapest things to eat when your stomach is not going right intestinal problems whatever white bread no butter rice cakes or steamed or boiled rice even potato can be a little bit too rich for the body um applesauce and oatmeal plain non flavored non sugar oatmeal you can add a little bit of brown sugar because the molest is actually is a cleanser But you don't want to do too much when it's really just a little bit of brown sugar and the iron in the molasses is good for your body. that's pretty much it you don't want to eat anything that's not bland and I mean bland even carrots can cause reactions and yes you can toast the bread and one thing you definitely want to avoid is eggs and dairy products Do not drink raw milk when you're sick like that I'll just make it worse but yogurt is fine because yogurt has been processed by the bacteria the lactic bacteria to make it safe to eat certain cheese is too are like that Swiss cheese or you could eat blue cheese is really good if you have any intestinal problems Stilton or Danish blue gorgezola that those are great for intestinal health because they actually have antibiotics in them honey is good too to a point small amounts of honey is in tea because they just recently found out that honey the reason why it's such a good healer on wounds as natural hydrogen peroxide in it you know it's stuff that you get into the brown bottle and you put it in the with the Q tips put it on a cutter scrape and it fizzes like mad yeah that sucks he's in honey it's like small amounts it's like 100th of a percentage amount but it's enough to do what it needs to be done which is cure infection

Get pregnant in your teens I raise your heads in your 20s when you've got the energy and when you're thirty you relax and you start slowing down you need to get married but the kids go off to college at that time they're you ready for them to leave the house and you still have energy to do the fun stuff that you want to do while working and you're that much closer to already retiring so get pregnant when you're seventeen 18 folks trust me it's a lot easier to do that then deal with having kids then continue your education and jobs and so on and so forth once you're like in your 30s and started doing your 40s that's much better because when you're all partying when you're 20s you're wasting all that energy that you can be doing to raise your kids and having time to spend on your kids because when you're in your 30s and 40s you don't need to spend that time on the kids anymore as much or at all Because they're getting grown up And you spend that on yourself you know to work and make a lot of money then you can retire early. that's the way to do it folks they're pregnant first get the kids out of the way then get married for love and then Work your off and retire and then you can do all the fun stuff you want to do and when you're having your midlife crisis you're already done you getting ready to go i'm ready to have my prices let's go.

so not only did you eat a bad burger but you eat a burger that was partly contaminated somewhere else because it was hanging around all day on the warm air before you cooked it and you probably eat it medium well or medium rare or on the rare side you can't do that the older the meat is sitting around the more you have to cook it cook it cook it unless you've been used to eating rare meat your whole life that's possibly questionable it also could be whoever glass handled the burger didn't wash their hands after going to the bathroom because that could be what a good way of contamination for E coli is that's where E coli comes from it's okay in the intestines and the bowels and the wreck them is not okay in your food in your bloodstream and anywhere else. Me when I when I had to go through the procedure I had to strep infection in my foot don't ask me how I got strep to caucus in my foot. luckily we're able to kill it they had to take the toe though that's the only thing middle toe on the right foot and then help me to get better after that Which thing did. all I can say is I hope you get better soon

Sorry I missed the live stream, Mike. I can totally empathize with you're situation. Many years ago I had a encounter with a serious case of food poisoning. It was when I was in college or university to you, I suppose. In between classes I decided to grab a chicken sandwich from the snack bar located in the student commons and within the next hour got really sick to my stomach. After going to the restroom still felt awful. I decided to head home. During the half hour drive I continued to get worse and I barely made it into the bathroom before I started going at both ends. The next morning after I was completely empty I went to see my doctor and he said I was suffering from food poisoning. They put me on oral antibiotics and something to help settle my stomach. Also got put on a clear liquid diet. It took me over a month to get back to normal. On the bright side I lost 50 lbs and body fat. I also quit eating anything that is even remotely under cooked. Hang in there buddy and praying you are better soon.

I would not go for just carnivore. But in the spirit of carnivore, I do not skimp on my meat portions try to change up dif types of meat now again, as a kid I am going back that is when I felt my best sans goodies. Also meats that have fat, grissle, muscle cover, tendons, cartiliege, gnaw on the bone, etc. I do not eat all of the discard, does not hurt to chew on becomes a part of your body. Get your carnavore really on! lol (I think that is why all the bone, cart. injuries for runners and sports all the cleaned up meat, like a chicken breast, is just meat and tendon that holds the two pieces together) Buy the meat with everything still in it. Clean cut of meat is so eighties.

I got the trots last several days but out come the 50bil probiotics. Yogurt, kimchee, the cabbage seems to burn it up. Yeah, jeez I would not do it myself not stringent enough to mess with anything bodily and near the heart. You are getting me running for one of my pro b pills. Sorry Mike I thought they just additived us in the US, the guinea pigs. They do use water on the dry clamshell lettuce. It is a bit chlorinated. E coli comes from feces/urine. can be in the water they water the fields with. All the goings on out there and yes, kids bring germs home. Hopefully, you have some additional resistance by then.

If you want a Testimony for the Carnivore Diet- LOOK UP JORDAN PETERSON. Carnivore saved his wife! His daughter suffers with several Auto Immune disorders, and all she eats is one cut of Beef. Beef- carries all the nutrition you need, because cows are herbivores.
Keto is strictly low carb- almost zero carb. That means no taters, carrots, fruits, breads, colorful veges and fruits, refined sugars. My BIL installed a hydroponic gardens for his salad greens and a few green veges. If you want to do that for weight loss or maintenance, it is quite strict.

I am so glad you are on the mend. My daughter's friend died from ecoli poisoning from eating a hamburger that was not cooked to 160 degrees f. She was only 15. My daughter stopped eating meat after that. I have been on Keto for many years. It worked well for quite a while, but I am having other health issues so keto is not good for me now. Also, I have heard from a doctor that if you eat too much protein in a given day, your body will convert the excess protein to glucose or carbs. That sounds counter intuitive but they are studying it a lot so we'll see.

I knew eating salad was bad for you, pass the steak, I had those stomach cramps and felt like crap for about 5 days then got it again about 4 days later, I just put it down to constipation even though I was going, I bought a chicken and made chicken broth/soup to help flush me out, beer will bloat you up after you kill off the bacteria with antibiotics, back in the 60's my dad nearly died from Typhoid from corned beef bought while he was working up north, a few people died from it.

In the states, there's a side effect from some forms of Lyme's disease that can make a person allergic to red meat.
I don't know if you all have ticks in the UK, but Lyme's disease is carried by deer ticks, and possibly other tick species. Deer ticks are tiny. When they are engorged with blood after a bite, they are the size of a poppy seed. So tiny. They are difficult to feel when they are crawling on you and difficult to find when they latch on.

Lighting Fine! Lucozade has got me through a few serious infections too but like everything else its not what it used to be imo. Different diets suit different people nd dont even get me started on supermarket food nd government hypocrisy lol. Really hope you feeling better soon nd can keep yr spirits up. Love woodland stuff and do things at your own pace! All the best to you nd family.
reply

Hope your recovery is quickly and once you are healthy again you stay healthy. Also hope the family is and stays healthy as well. Unfortunately for some reason here in the USA it appears that the federal government has taken aim at farmers and local markets and are shutting them down and shutting down small farms every chance they get. Also they are trying to shut down ranchers as well.

Hi Mike. Calling in from Nz. Just take care of yourself mate. Listen to the advice of the medical/microbiologists and you'll be ok. However ginger in its pure form, can help greatly. Do NOT drink Ginger flavored drink. It's a flavour, not the real thing. Anyway take care and listen to the advice of those who know what they're talking about. Atb from down under.

Golly, that's so many antibiotics. Glad to see you're getting better. I have a port, a permanent version of a picc line. There's a titanium thing with a rubber septum in it under the skin of my chest, accessed with a special needle at a right angle. It's pretty trippy but I definitely felt weirded out by the catheter right above my heart when I first got it!

What a reminder. I purchased cilantro and steeped in the fridge a while. it even smelled bad not like swampy just wet damaged leaves. somethng funky. OOOOUUUTTT not worth it. YOu are proud of me, Mike, you and the bcftr and preppers. GOOD JOB! That and my mother walked around for years with e. coli the drs did not find it for years.
reply

Hi Mike. Dr here- blood test you mentioned is a CRP- C reactive protein: a non-specific inflammatory marker, levels of which can indicate severity of infection- low level likely viral, higher levels with bacterial infection. Useful to monitor response to treatment too. I hope you feel better soon mate, love your content!
