Good to see you are doing well. You mentioned 'gut flora' and after being in hospital myself, I started having gut issues and pain. Tried so many things then remembered hearing about Miso (Japanese fermented soy paste) soup and how it has so many healthy bacteria. I went to a local Japanese grocery store and picked up a container of the paste, it keeps well in the freezer and has the consistency of peanut butter. One heaping teaspoon into a cup of hot (not boiling, too hot will kill the good bacteria) water and stir to dissolve. Keep that in mind if other methods are not working for you. I have a cup almost every morning and the discomfort has not returned.

I built a outfit back several years ago the hall deer out of the woods and to bring camping supplies in when I went camping what I've done was used mountain bike wheels what about the whole bike for from the yard sale for 10 bucks I went and got threaded rod I have to go all the way through also I would advise you of taking a seatbelt and hooking it up to the front end of that so if you insist on going forward with it you can have that belt go up and across your shoulders and help support the weight but me personally I would pull it backwards it'll be much smoother going that way keep up the great videos

Hi mike. Good to hear that you're feeling better.
But I do have a little complaint. Those paper marks like the one you were using while painting with the can are basically useless, they're not even suitable for dust as they don't have a proper seel around the face.
It's a good job you were outside because the cloud was blown away instead of ending up in your lungs.
If you and your wife spray paint indoors then please buy some proper restorators with the correct filters.
Take care.

It's good to see you feeling better Mike. Who would have thought that you had a mouse that had taken up residence in your cabin It's lucky your dog was there. It can be a serious issue, especially with rats, as they can leave trails of urine containing Weils Disease that can be fatal if it gets into a scratch, graze or cut in your skin or via your mouth and eyes. Fishermen have even contracted it, warehouse staff and truckers too, from manually shifting infected wooden pallets etc.

there's something called foamex board, often used for advertising and signage with graphics printed on it, sort of like an airated plastic board, perhaps making a frame of wood like stud walling covered in that stuff would be lighter weight and more weather resistant, plus you could always double layer it with insulation, local place to me often puts out bad prints that are massive panels of the stuff if you're looking to go full shoestring budget

hi buddy, another great upload. Nice add-on with the wheels.
I second your suggestion to maybe use a long axel (for both wheels. when you do that, I'd add some bearings or at least metal plates with holes washers where the axel sits. I'd guestimate that bearings will lower the force required to move it with about 20-30% and the metal plates with 10%; o)
take care of yourself And the family to get back into 100% shape

I don't know why I'm bothering, because everything I post here is ghosted. I don't think it's Mike, but i have no clue what yt has against my statements.
In the future, you can put Jack's prey on the ash tree remains, and the Tawny owls will make good use of it. Robert E. Fuller's Tawny's have already fledged and dispersed, but the Barn Owls are still in the nest.
Good to see you up and about.

Hi Mike, good to see you out and about again. If you are going to do a MK2 mini cabin then maybe leave the leg set up the same and put the wheels in the middle, that way you wont have to lift the weight to move it as it will be balanced and the legs would lift the wheels off the ground when set up so it would be stable. wheels deffo need a better axle design like a bar all the way through as you said.

The folding cabin is coming along nicely. The new paint works a treat. Those wheels are so much better than moving the cabin around on a wheelbarrow. Jax really did good work in evicting the mouse: it felt like the 'tenant in possession' and would have been back in a flash. Given your weakened system, you do not need a regular dose of mouse poo in your environment.

Good you're feeling better.
Although I hate being that guy, but you might want to use the spray paint sparingly in the woods. The microscopic droplets from the spray paint, that don't land on your target, fly away and become micro plastics. Unless the paint is bio-degradable you produced whole clouds of micro-plastics in this video.

Just a thought but if you had a small handful of those flat pack cabins in the same area then you could use them for family camping weekends and save space tranporting equipment etc and glad your feeling better it sounds like something awful to go through but at least your on your way out of the worst of it

So happy you are back to your old self. If I may, as for the folding cabin, I really can't see why you can't add another set of wheels. One end would need wheels that can turn on a 360 axis, but you wouldn't have to lift the whole thing off the ground. Of course, the is a cost to that. Just a thought.

Obviously you choose to go the route of medicating yourself at home instead of daily visits to the hospital. Can't say I wouldn't have chosen the same. If you feel okay to do things, go for it. But do be carful and don't push yourself. Better to get well then have a recourse event. Thumbs Up!

you should have placed wheel in the center of the frame so you don't have to keep other half of the cabin's weight with your strength. having them in the middle would allow you just to balance the cabin on the center pivot which would take a lot less strength/exertion to do.

Cool folding mini cabin! I think the wheels will need a solid axle. The single bolts will wedge into the wood over time, making your wheels crooked, due to the weight of the cabin. Also bearings would be a good idea imho. For an axle you can use a Threaded Rod M12 x 1m.

If I may give you one good tip. dont use wood but HPL-plating for building something like this. Relative a lot cheaper than wood because it doesn't need chemical protection, should last you about 15 years without maintenence, is waterproof, bugs dont like it, etc etc.
