I travel 900 Miles for a 4 day camping trip alone in the Mountains. My adventure sees me hiking up peaks in wind and rain, camping by glacial lakes and on the ridge of one of the tallest peaks in England. This adventure contains paid advertorial and is sponsored by Subaru. Book a Test drive: Subaru

Interesting side of your persona that I totally enjoyed. I would like to suggest that you keep Motrin brand ibuprofen in your first aid kit. In the US Army, it is known as Ranger Candy and is used frequently for some of the physical impact you experienced. A doctor friend told me that the Motrin brand has other ingredients in the formula that make it the most effective as an ani inflammatory, and should be taken at the end of the exertion, not the day after. Will reduce the soreness far more this way. And yes, I am an Old School Ranger.

On an oat so simple packet there's a level on it to put the water or milk into. If you put the oats in first then fill the sachet to the fill line you'll never put in too much water. You'll notice the inside of the sachet is waxy and water proof for that reason. Love your videos. I'm sure somebody had pointed this out somewhere else but I've not seen anyone doing so. Thank you for what you and your dad do. I love watching you both before bed and also when I'm fishing if I need tips Have a good one.

Incredible adventure, Mike The scenery was amazing. Climbing that mountain had to be strenuous for you with a bum left knee. I love the tent and your backpack. As a military retiree I am partial to military surplus gear to include those of European forces, great stuff You are one of a kind, Mike, and it's no wonder you're experiencing wonderful YT success. Much respect and admiration. keep on truckin' Brother

Bob's your uncle is a way of saying you're all set or you've got it made. It's a catch phrase dating back to 1887, when British Prime Minister Robert Cecil (a. k. a. Lord Salisbury) decided to appoint a certain Arthur Balfour to the prestigious and sensitive post of Chief Secretary for Ireland.

That insect repellent never worked for me but I use lavender essential oil and water in tiny spray bottle. You only need a couple drops of oil. Lavender repels midges, mozzies, ticks, fleas and flies. It works brilliantly for me and I used to get bitten loads. Great video by the way. X

In 1887, British Prime Minister Robert Gascoyne-Cecil appointed his nephew Arthur James Balfour as Minister for Ireland. The phrase 'Bob's your uncle' was coined when Arthur referred to the Prime Minister as 'Uncle Bob'. Apparently, it's very simple to become a minister when Bob's your uncle

to see mountains go to the alps. you above all people could do it. my wife and i used to to do this with only a cheap ridge tent and eiderdown sleeping bags. the only problem was unless you pressurised the vessel because of the altitude the boiling point of liquid was lower.

I did monte blanc, in 1991, 4850 metres, nearly 5K high, 9 people died in the month we climbed it, this should be a breeze for a fit lad like you, you should be sprinting up it, No seriously, it is hard with a constant incline and it saps the life out of you, respect

I live in the Sierra Nevada Mountains of California, but my favorite coastal regions are Point Reyes, about 50 miles north of San Francisco and Big Sur, about 150 miles south of S. F, They both look very similar to the region you explored. So beautiful TYVM
