Hoping not to sound untoward or out of place but the world is split into two groups of people, the resourceful and the coasters. you have mineral wealth all over this planet and the first group have located it and made industries utilising these, infrastructures have been built around them where as housing workplaces hospitals, welfare and so on have sprung up in these areas to support the workforces needed to utilise the mineral or source. Other places in the world have mineral wealth but no inclination to exploit these and look to those countries as either a safe haven to migrate to and take what is on offer or an easy meal ticket. Once established at that location and as long as there is a steady supply of food and other resources then coasters will coast and breed like rabbits. Nature and history shows us the all important lessons that we need to sit up and pay attention to, if you look at ANY species on this planet while food is plentiful and no competition or predator is present then that particular species breeds beyond the natural resources until eventually that particular eco system cannot support it any longer, then disease, or famine culls that species. Unlike wild animals we will instead continue at all costs to try and house, feed and support the coasters until such time as we have destroyed our own habitat, sadly unlike wild animals it wont be disease or famine that kills us most likely war. its a sad thing but it looks ever most likely. It breaks me to think we are beyond help but you only have to look at how much unrest there is in the world today and how many wars are springing up all over the globe, how we are destroying the wilderness at a frightening rate to allow for the expansion of the population. Other than an act of god, an alien invasion or a zombie apocalypse I think we are all in big trouble. Remote, harsh and unforgiving environments ie the poles, the deserts and the barren wastelands will be the only places left unspoilt and while no one likes harsh and unforgiving environments there is little doubt our green belt areas will continue to be decimated.

TA Outdoors, FYI: This is from Wikipedia: A number of nations today are declining in population: this is occurring in a region stretching from North Asia (Japan) through Eastern Europe, including Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Bulgaria, Georgia, Armenia, and into Central and Western Europe, including Albania, Bosnia, Croatia, Serbia, Slovenia, Germany, Hungary, and now Greece, Italy and Portugal, in addition to Puerto Rico in the Caribbean. Countries rapidly approaching long-term population declines (but currently experiencing modest growth) include Spain, Cuba, Uruguay, Denmark, Finland, and Austria. Russia also faces long-term population decline, although the trend has been stalled through a reversal of stagnant birth rates. Many nations in Western Europe (and the EU as a whole) would today have declining populations if it were not for immigration. The total population of the continent of Europe (including Russia and other non-EU countries) peaked around the year 2000 and has been falling since 2004. The U. S. is barely over the break-even line. The nations that have growing populations are 3rd world, Arab and Hispanic. Many residents of almost all advanced nations have chosen to have one or no children, thereby lowering their population. Just thought you would like to know. Sue

Hi Mike, If your target is directly above you then gravity is pulling on the back of the pellet so aim low. Shooting downhill gravity is pulling the pellet down also so you have to also aim low. Gravity has the greatest effect on trajectory when you hold the rifle level. Also it's a bad habit to get into if you rest the rifle's barrel on a support. Best to rest the stock and your hand against the support and not the barrel. This is especially important with spring piston air rifles as they have complex recoils that will effect accuracy. 177 is a great calibre for small game and target practice for sub 12ft. lbs. If you had more muzzle energy then I would favour. 22. The feather looks like it came from a buzzard. The govt need to stop shelling out benefits that encourage families to produce large numbers of children. The biggest expense that a couple will face is the cost of rearing children. This is something that they should only do if they can afford to do it. They should not rely on the govt and hand outs to bring a family up. If we all had one or two children then our population would remain static or even fall over time and then we would not need to move to africa. Sorry for my rant. LOLSandy

10: 14 and a few other points you rested the weight of the gun on the barrel and at different positions along the barrel each time. that is bad practice for a number of reasons not least of which it can affect barrel harmonics which can lead to inconsitent accuracy not to mention the obvious point that it bends the barrel relative to the line of sight through the scope to varying degrees adding to inconsistency even further. These effects are less niticeable at close range but it pays to get into good habits right from the outset for when you need to take that long range or championship winning shot. You can get bean-bag rests which are designed to fit over car windows / doors or rifles or big camera lenses ( like this one - www. ebay. co. uk/itm/401356914235 ) I reccomend getting something like that and ONLY rest the gun on the stock or the Bipod for consitent shot placement / tight groupings; )

Awesome vid guys. On the theory, here in the Philippines, as an archipelago, nature is in control in the tropics, plentiful jungle, wild land, and tons of wild-life in both sea and land. I think you will find that the tropics will always provide plenty of Frontier due the nature of it all. But you won't see a ton of family residences rushing into the jungle due to human deterrants; local tribes, guerillas, private armies, rebels, mosquitos, poisonous critters, etc. and even if you can afford the land the cost of defending and maintaining it in resources is very high. I feel there is still a lot of opportunities elsewhere besides Africa, come explore the tropics, but you will have to deal with other types of dangers. Otherwise, keep up the great work and God Bless you and the family. Gene-out.

Well NZ is sort of going that way regarding population expansion because migration to here is at an all time high. Cities can not cope as there is just not enough housing or infrastructure to handle them all. Long time city people are moving out to the country to get away and this is having problems because not enough houses for newly weds to start families in so productive farm land is being swallowed up to build new house for them. Then there is not enough good roads for all the the extra vehicles and so it goes on. To slow things up they are only allowing people to settle and work that have skills that are beneficial to the country. Hope this is sort of what you guys are looking for so all the best to you both. Oh yes liked the video

Theory Time. Disease, Fresh Water, Food, Famine, Religious-Ethnic-Tribal Wars, Power-Greed-Civil Unrest seems to be in Human's Future as it has been in the Past, Culling of the Human Specie has been done both by Nature, and by Man's own Hand. Past has been Documented, the Future is Our's to write. Everything upon this Planet is connected, Do We as the supposedly top intelligent Specie break the connections or with full concentration of Our combined knowledge work for the Future of the Only Home We have? Honor and Respect to the Father/Son relationship, Enjoy the Videos.

Great fun video mate, Couple of tips regarding your rifle though, don't rest on your barrel that will affect accuracy, Also when you adjust the zoom on your scope that will affect your poi slightly. I try and stick with 10x mag. If you are going to change it then it's best to do a set of range cards for each magnification. Lastly, that bit of foam in the pellet tin, get some on the bottom of the tin aswell as on top to help reduce the skirts getting damaged. Again loved the video, and well done on the final camp update.

fantastic video, loved it. Is the feather from a hen harrier, or is it truly the bird you mentioned? Contrary to popular belief we are not overpopulated on this earth. We are congested into metropolitan areas, where most people wish to live, due to conveniences, especially when it comes to large percentage of aging population. Large secluded wilderness is only attainable on foot. I foresee a future of floating water homes and commerce, as well as underwater habitats. Thanks for the awesome video.

There is something else to consider. While your camp is a nice camp, no doubt about it, your dad said you could survive there for three years (meaning straight, but your camp you have come and gone from for weeks at a time. You literally were not LIVING in that camp. Constant living in a camp like this will always see improvements of some kind do to either deterioration or human ideas. Leaving wood in the woods without messing with it allows for longer wood life. It's weird how that works. lol
