Strong, readily available materials (at least in the UK, and most important of all (for me, aesthetically pleasing. Rather beautiful, actually. Thank you, Dustin & Mike, for showing us the technique for making a wattle 'wall'/fence. We sure do love your adventure series building historically-influenced houses. P. S. Amber did her classic I'm a cool dog routine, which makes us all happy!

'Time Team 4238. ' what we have here in trench No 3, is just an amazing piece of a post that probably held up a small round house, But what we found trench No 5, is incredible, you can still see the tool marks made by the ancient man who lived here, prob even sat right here and ate a primitive meal of meat from some once gone animal.

Willow fencing is beautiful. Where I am currently they're getting a bee hive, one of these behind it to break the wind in winter would be awesome but there's no willow anywhere here. Lots of pine (Scotland) and some Broad leaf trees, can those be made from other trees?
