Building a Pallet Wood Cabin: Cheap Tiny House for a 1 Year Old (PART 3)

Building a tiny cabin from reclaimed pallet wood. Recycling materials made it easier to build the off grid cabin on the cheap. Now the first part of the tiny homestead is now complete. Dad builds a pallet wood chair, cooking stove top, welsh dresser and a folding bed with mattress. Whilst having a break for lunch, Dad cooks up fresh food on the stove to test it out. This pallet wood cabin is a great project to do in your backyard. The pallets we reclaimed for free (with permission) and just used a few simple tools to break the pallets apart and recycle the wood to put together the walls and floor of the cabin

I love it. That stiff foam makes the best bolster. Awesome. She shouldn't argue too much when she's put down for a nap at Grandma and Grandpa's. And don't worry about us not seeing your girl's reaction to her village first hand, the safety and security of children should always come first. Can't wait for the next installment.

The sweetest little cabin that any child would be thrilled to have
In the US we dont pay for pallets either. Our stores will stack the ones they let the public have away from the color coded ones they will reuse. About once a week i take a flat bed trailer to town to get pallets from these stores

In switzerland and probably lots of continental europe (especially the german speaking parts) buissinesses have whittered a chance and a hype regarding pallets, so they sell them and most supermarkets and or companies don't really give them away for free: -/

Hey you two! Amazing job so far, to throw in my 2 cents, I wouldn't show/expose my kids online. Too many creepy people online! Keep on doing those great videos, very enjoyable content over the last few years. Best from Germany; )

As for the child, I think bevore the age of 12 no kids fotos or videos should be shared on any social media.
Let the kid decide (or partialy decide, a guidance is necessary at the start) what and where it is seen.

Be a bit drafty come winter months for a one year old but suppose as things go, easy enough to put up some discarded carpet to add a bit of luxury when sleeping, plus keeps the bugs at bay. Cheers Dad, Son and Jax,

I even have a friend who owns a pallet company. Huge market for pallets in the US. They sell them for 5-10 and buy them back from the people they sold them to for only 1 when they are done with them.

I can understand NOT having E on screen. perhaps a still pic of her smiling inside the cabin or some such. or have her decorate it the rest of the way and show off her personalized digs

I'm moving into my own place later this summer and I plan on doing a build like this because my lot size has so much spare land I don't know what to fill it with.

Craftsmanship builder of trades. In the united states, we also have folks who build from pellets, and people go around businesses asking and they do give them away.
