3: 00 that was poor Lewis The Koala. He suffered devastating burns back in November. He did not survive and when I first saw that video and heard his cries, only this past week, I sobbed SO hard. I dont have much. I dont have much money. Im ill and on a very limited budget BUT I managed to find 20 AUD (I am Canadian so I donated the amount equivalent to 20 Aussie Dollars) to WIRES. Www. wires. org. au If you cant afford a piece of clothing to buy through TFIL think long and hard. Do you REALLY need that Starbucks coffee? Do you REALLY need that fast food or dinner out? Do you REALLY need that movie night? Because honestly, we here in Canada and the US and the UK and anywhere really, we DONT NEED IT BUT the people and the Animals like Lewis do Many of the animals there are pouch animals. I have friends in Australia and they all say to send pillowcases Send as many as possible as they are homes for the young koalas, kangaroos and other wildlife special to Australia. Do a pillow case collection at your school and ship them to an animal rescue. Theres SO many things you can do to help. Many of the animals are now at risk of being put on the endangered list. THAT is how bad it is there. So please, before buying that coffee or burger and fries, consider making a sandwich at home and donate the money you WOULD have spent that day. Thank you it so truely devastating the fires and the drought. We have lost many species of plant and animals as most were already at point of distinction. How this will affect our landscape is yet to be seen. I have been sewing pouches and bags for the animals in care now. there are so many burnt and homeless. People can rebuilt but our Koloa populations is in peril. thank you again for the should put and I will pop over and purchase some merch so my boys can wear and share with you on our travels. that you again from bottom of our hearts. cheers and as an older person. love you new doco style.

Thankyou for helping spread awareness Elton. I'm from Victoria Australia. even tho the fires are couple hundred kilometers the smoke is just blanketing everywhere. im from the country and usually we are the ones struggling with the fires. but this time it's our natural ranges and our native animals are just being wiped out by the thousands. and hitting alot of little towns. our communities are strong the people are strong and everyone's is doing whatever they can. don't worry if you can't afford to donate. your best wishes are enough.

god i hope it didnt die from the water shoved down its throat, apparently they need water in dishes and some have died from bottled water. they generally get their water from gum leaves (did not know this until yesterday which as an aussie is embarrassing, proud of these heroes for actually being out there unlike myself. got two fires coming from either side at my home but they're unlikely to reach thanks to the rain we got this week (which brought more lightning fires xD. oh the koala died from his burns: '( his crys were heartbreaking.

Thx man our place is on fire and it's bad and firefighters from all across Australia came to new mostly to help the fires and I am not sure if I will survive the fire so this is a big deal for me so thank you so much so thx I appreciate your act of kindness for us people in Australia, Elton. And whoever thinks I'm not in Australia then I don't know just all the proof is my picture that I use for my yt pic.

Its so sad to know that my beautiful country is burning down peoples homes are gone animals are gone and suffering I hate to know that theres so much animals and people in pain peoples lives are gone and its hard for people to come too school Because of the smoke and one of my neighbours is moving because she cant handle the smoke its so sad too see this happen so Im praying for everyone and my country

Thankyou for helping us We were told we 2 hours to evacuate our home we had dogs and everything. They come in by helicopter to pick us up 20 minutes later because the fire was already upon us. My dad had to kill my dogs because they wasnt allowed on the helicopter. Our entire property is ash and we have our shirts on our backs and our computer tower with all our pictures on it. No car nothing left.

As an Australian who has been quite close to some of the fires, and knows people who have lost everything in them, thank you so much. It hurts to see all the wildlife getting hurt, especially as Im going to be studying animal science for zoology this year. So this kills me to see our wildlife getting destroyed, and I want to help as much as I can. Thank you so much for what youre doing
