Regarding the genocide memorial, this is what every nation should do. See their past in honest and decent way as a reflection for better future for the whole nation itself. Meanwhile, in my country Indonesia, which often describe themselves as civilised with good and decent culture, but had worse (state backup) genocide story back in 1965, but till this second, it still unclear what was really happening back then, even we don't know the number of the victims, 1 mills, 2 or maybe 3 mills people? And the worst part is there still some people think if the genocide was the right things to do back then. How bad is that do you think?

Thank you for the Video. This country has a very moving history. The Manager of the Des Milles Collin Hotel has given shelter to many of Tutsi People during the genocide and refuse to extradite these People to the Hutu Military although he was a Hutu himself. He bribed the Perpetraters to protect the Tutsi. His wife was a Tutsi and he sent his wife and children to a refugee Camp led by the Blue Helmet Army. He refused to leave the People and the employees behind, but was then forced by the increasing danger to fled the place. You probably know the Movie Hotel Rwanda. It is a very impressiv Story.

i quite like that name Kigali. lovely reception/front desk area, dining area is nice and like the colours as well, i'm not a fan of dark wood furniture, but i know it really makes a room look very elegant and plush. Pool area with all the plants around, gives you an outdoor feel. love that. BEAUTIFUL. hope you come to my island in the caribbean and stay at the Hyatt.

How thoughtful of you that you visited this part of Africa in this case Rwanda. This is country that suffered immensely as you said in your narration but have managed to develop itself beyond recognition. Thanks for sharing this unforgettable experiences of our life time.

There will always be scars from that atrocity that can never and should never be forgotten. Forgiven perhaps, but never forgotten. Freedom is only possible at the cost of eternal vigilance
